Regarding Davies being subbed due to a injury to his leg he said "the kid wanted to play on but you can't take any chances". Going back to west ham at half time when griff was clearly injured but wanted to play on, why was it alright to take a chance there?

I think Davies needs to be given time but I don't get a good feeling about him!

More faces than a church clock!
We've seen it so often
Hoefkens - tired so drop him Chadwick - tired, don't tell anyone
Kitson - missed a few half chances so drop him Fuller - missed a load of decent chances, make excuses

Only one person to blame and thats Tony Pulis. He picks the team, he can buy the players - If you can't take the club any further TP thenat least do the decent thing and do what Paul Jewel did this week and leave!

'close to a couple of signings' this should have been done prior to the window opening - what have the club being doing? If we don't sign anyone this week then we are in big trouble for next Saturday!

I won't be getting excited about signings.
Most are either poor, unnecessary or badly used.
Didn't sound angry enough.
The players should be in TONIGHT watching that disgrace on TV.
Instead, they'll be flashing their bling and getting pissed somewhere because they don't give a shit.
Let's hope it's not around Stoke because they deserve to be spat on.

For a Premiership manager to admit on radio that after Hartlepool scored that they were a better team beggars belief. The manager selects the team and the tactics that the team should use to beat whatever opposition is in front of them. Pulis continues to fail in picking the correct team from the squad available and I really don't believe he knows what tactics are.... Cheers Adie

I dont think he wanted to win that match - comments about his body language and then TP's own words seem to testify.

Lets see if they are training tomorrow. If they aren't then it's true he ain't bothered about this game and all the money we keep spending supporting our beloved team.

so if he'd have come out and said stoke were the better team today (when they obviously weren't) then you would have been happy. in pulis we trust.

MrPickles, there should be no way that a Manager of a Premier League team puts himself in a position where he publicly admits that a team two divisions lower than his chosen team was better than his. In Pulis we will get relegated. Adie

been watching stoke since the 70's, this could turn out to be a very embarrassing 2nd half to the season. he's never got a team relegated, but there's always a 1st time.

Ive been watching Stoke since 1952 and Pulis is the most inept manager ive seen and that includes Kamara Barker and Andrews, his signings in general have been abysmal, I would say about 20% actually come good. His tactical nowse is negative, boot it up or play for a long throw and hope. All the teams have now worked this out, so whats he done to change it? NOTHING.

i'm all for everyone having their opinions but this is stoke and the fa cup. You could put clough in his heyday in charge of stoke in the fa cup and he'd do sod all. Its like being west brom manager taking his team to stoke (a thankless task) we take on liverpool on saturday and i dare say we'll give them a cracking game, possibly nick a point (or more) and this board will have a different feeling altogether. i'm keeping my faith in the man who's created a team thats filled me full of pride for 95% of this season an got us to the best league in the world against the odds for the first time in 23 years. in pulis i trust
