positives are getting time on the pitch for lawrence and Kitson - couldn't give two chuffs about the result today, will not have any effect whatsoever on saturday's game.. You are right there....we were going to lose against Liverpool before today's game and we are sure as hell going to lose after today's game!!

"Job Done"
I know we're not supposed to abuse people who hold different opinions to ourselves, otherwise I'd tell you to fuck right off.
Most people are extremely pissed off at losing to League One opposition...the last thing we need are fellow supporters making out that an embarrassing defeat is some kind of calculated plan from Pulis.

I can appreciate people wanting to remain positive, but sheesh this is bordering on delusion. With the exception of Abd Faye and Higgy, I think Pulis started with the ten strongest outfield players available to him. We went there to win this game and, erm ... GOT COMPLETELY FUCKED OVER! It's that simple.

Yes, job done.
You've made absolutely certain that no decent player will come her and challenge "Ric" for his place.

Yes, job done. You've made absolutely certain that no decent player will come her and challenge "Ric" for his place. 1. Money talks 2. Why would anyone come to Stoke at the start of the season when we were everyone's favourite to go down?

I was referring to the title of this thread and how some people are seeing it as some kind of plan by Pulis to actually get knocked out. Maybe I should've given you a little wink at the end.

with regards to the very first post what a loads of bo**ocks... im sure the 800 odd supporters who went up north to watch that complete and utter shambles thought about it as the way you do...but dont forget we have to play these hoofball tactics against the worldbeaters hartlepool... give me a break that today was shambolic to say the least

Yes, the supporters got a very raw deal.
I don't think we'll be the only 'shock' though. The Cup is seen very much as a distraction by many managers these days.
