It wasn't second string though was it?
Maybe half of the team is second string but half would either play or be on the bench for a Prem game.

That wasn't far off our best eleven available.
Probably only Sorro, Ab Faye and Higgy that were missing.

The trouble is, dave, this second string is all that we have to fall back on.
I thought/hoped when TP brought in players like Tonge, Soares, Whelan, Olifonjana, we were going to see some football, but nothing seems to have changed. Long hoofball is still the name of our game.
I feel embarressed and humiliated that we can't go away, a Premiership team, and beat a team like hartlepool FFS, Crewe pasted them a few weeks ago.
PC says we are looking to bring in at least three players in January. I've got news for you, Peter, we need five or six players that are going to go straight into the team if we are to have any chance of staying up.
I'm not usually pessimistic, but watching our perfornmces gradually deteriorate, I am now seriously worried, and todays perfromace has only served to justify my pessimism.
Hope I feel better in the morning.
