Anyone know what this lad is like? I've heard good things of Wedderburn and Louis-Hamilton but not heard anything about him.
Should give him ago up front tomorrow, can't be much worse than Vince?

Pennock wants to mould Grocott into a right back and has begun this by playing him in midfield for th emajority of the past twelve months.
It wouldn't surprise me if Louis Moult or Warwick Alexander were on the bench tomorrow- I think TP rates them higher than Grocott in the striker role.

Like I said to you mate we have 17 fully fit, including DM. If LL's prepared to start then that'll be a bonus.
Personally I'd like to see Warwick AND Louis involved tomorrow. With the striker shortage we have, the opposition, the winter break the lads have just had and most importantly the fact that we could benefit in the long run by giving the lads a sneak preview if life as a pro.
I'd start with Warwick and Vince as I feel Warwick can deal more with the physical element of the game at this stage in their development and bring on Louis late on when the legs are tired

Warwick Alexander - academy striker
16 years old but massive. Top scorer for our academy. Plays a great role up front for the academy, mainly alone with Louis Moult and Tom Urwin and/or Adam Vickers supporting him and is strong on the ball, has good distribution,a good header on him and an eye for goal. Holds the ball up really well and brings others into the game.

And you think he could be an option for tomorrow?

We have no other strikers to fit the role. So he should be imo. Desperate times call for desperate measure and the academy players should be there to be used. Other teams do it, so should we. What harm can come from giving the lad a go?

Well in most circumstances not as I think it can work for and against players at that stage of their career, dependant on personality. Some get a taste and want more so work harder whereas others believe they've made it and stop putting oin the effort.
This isn't normal circumstances though. This is an FA Cup tie to a side struggling in a division 2 below ourselves where we have one striker available and only 17 fully fit players, a handful needing games to get fully fit after injuries. I'd play him.
Having said that I don't think TP will. Thats not a dig or anything against TP as like I said prior in this message its about picking the right time to introduce these players to the big time. I believe TP will think hes too young and will play safe with Soares/LL partnering Vince.
