It was an amazing goal and an iconic moment. So why do I hate it so much? I hate that goal. No shit, I'm so sad I actually counted that on 3rd round day in 1996 it was shown eleven times. The kids in parkas AAAARRRGH!

In case you don't get chance to see it for a while Joe... I also got sick of seeing this, purely on the basis that he's so feckin' hairy....

I've seen it once today already. No doubt it will be on tomorrow sometime.............and Sunday.............. It is a screamer though Edit - PS - Ronnie was also interviewed and he said that some young woman jumped out of the crowd, threw her arms around him and gave him a kiss..............and that he's been trying to find her again for 35 years

No doubt every programme showing F.A. Cup football tommorrow will wheel out Giggs' miss hit toe bunt!!

I was in The Norfolk when Giggs scored that goal and got into a gloryhunter. I started by asking him what part of Manchester he was from. I ended by telling him we'd only drawn with Wycombe but that more important to us than the shit reaching the FA cup Final would ever be to him. EVER. He shot up his own arse.

Weren't we playing the night Giggs scored that goal? Am sure was on the A500 on the way back to Nantwich from a game listening on the radio.
What a lot of people forget with Radford's goal was that it was only an equaliser- was it Ricky George who got the winner ? Usually pretty much forgotten when every year this game comes up which is a shame as was on of the all time giant killings.
Personally pretty much lost interest in the FA Cup to be honest.

It is the essence of the F.A cup personified and rightly so. It's origin eminating from an era when football was a working class sport that could be enjoyed by everyone young and old, rich or poor. Sadly those days are now gone, ...never to return.

I think it's a great tackle, one-two, shot and goal, especially as it beat the geordies ;D I love seeing it, and that muddy pitch reminds me of when I was playing as a lad during that era.

Stop being so miserable, it's not often you see a goal scored from 80 yards out. Incidentally it was also Motson's first BBC TV commentary match. Now that does count heavily against its constant repetition.

But it's horrible. It's the kids in parkas. That goal might be why I always want underdogs to get hammered. Unless it's Stoke.
