Thought it worth comparing who we are allegedly being linked with in terms of strikers, loan or otherwise. Apologies if i've missed anyone (sorry no Zigic!)... some of these stats are surprising, apologies for any inaccuracy but they're all taken from Wikipedia. Age is in brackets. Marcus Berg (22) 96 games - 52 goals - 1.85 games per goal Sylvain Ebanks-Blake (22) 120 games - 53 goals - 2.26 games per goal Manucho (25) 98 games - 43 goals - 2.28 games per goal Kevin Kuranyi (26) 244 games - 96 goals - 2.54 games per goal Aruna Dindane (28) 243 games - 84 goals - 2.89 games per goal Henri Camara (31) 240 games - 81 goals - 2.96 games per goal Marlon Harewood (29) 370 games - 107 goals - 3.46 games per goal Angelos Charisteas (28) 248 games - 67 goals - 3.70 games per goal Lee McCulloch (30) 374 games - 68 goals - 5.50 games per goal Carlton Cole (25) 145 games - 23 goals - 6.30 games per goal Compare this with our own strikers: Kitson251 games - 94 goals - 2.67 games per goal Ric249 games - 78 goals - 3.19 games per goal Cresswell424 games - 92 goals - 4.61 games per goal Mama274 games - 39 goals - 7.03 games per goal ...and Vince....(sorry!) 114 games - 17 goals - 6.71 games per goal Make of that lot what you will, what it does show in a crude way (purely based on ability to hit the net) is that anybody from Camara upwards would (statistically) improve the first team, although to be fair most would improve the squad. Obviously doesn't take into account ability to fit into the style of play etc. I would personally like Ebanks-Blake or Manucho

Dindane, Kuranyi, Ebaks and Camara will do for me any two of those

Lee McCulloch would be bought to play on the left, I would have thought.

Probably being too optomistic, will probably end up with Tommy Smith or someone from a championship club.

Lee McCulloch would be bought to play on the left, I would have thought. He won't get in ahead of Cresswell... Isn't Aiden McGeady being linked for that position? I personally think McCulloch would be no better than Tonge.

Surely the chances of Ebanks-Blake leaving Wolves in Jan are slim and none?

Surely the chances of Ebanks-Blake leaving Wolves in Jan are slim and none? They are being linked with Beckford from Leeds, could be a possibility if they get him??

Surely the chances of Ebanks-Blake leaving Wolves in Jan are slim and none? They are being linked with Beckford from Leeds, could be a possibility if they get him?? Doubt it. He's their main man, and it'd be a hell of a risk to replace him at this stage. It's not like they need the money either.

Lee McCulloch would be bought to play on the left, I would have thought. He won't get in ahead of Cresswell... I've always imagined that the manager sees him as a better version of tricky Dicky, unfortunately Edit - Actually, maybe that's not so unfortnate after all

What it also does show that if we can get Kitson fit and we can supply him with the ammuntion he has a better score rate than fuller
