Always seems to be the bit that comes over where i sit i.e block 28 row 24
I.e. when its passed around before the game starts
I would estimate therefore, that the top edge of the flag must pass over the very top row of seats in all the stands thus, the bottom edge always passes by, around row 24
I find that intensely interesting
anybody else find this ?

Anybody else notice it always becomes slanted because everybody is hasty to move it along at the bottom?

i thought it goes slanted cause of the corner, more seats at the top than bottom

Tony what a marvellous estimate. Slap bang on the back row. Only too happy to help you with such a fascinating hobby.

In block 23 it passes above my row which is row 23

Post by Deleted on Jan 2, 2009 16:29:15 GMT
so - my theory is proven - how many rows of seats from 24 to the top ?
how wide is the flag ?
the mind boggles !

I sit on row 27 and like Tony says the bottom is at 24 so watching people trying to judge how low their head should be when going under it is amusing. The amount of people that get twatted by it astounding! ;D
