Hi folks - advice required please.
Me & my Fiancee have moved in & she has an AOL broadband contract until Apr 09 at her previous house.
My question is this, can we simply unplug the wireless router at her old house & then plug it into our new house!
Would it work ok or is Broadband connected to a specific address?
Thanks

Was in exactly the same situation earlier this year, AOL said they would sort my connection at my new address at birches head and it would take 2 weeks, 3 weeks had passed no conformation so i rang them and they told they couldnt get me a connection at my new address arseholes so I went with sky if this is any help I suppose if AOL can provide it at your new address that it is just a case of wiring back up your pc and away you go thats what they said to me anyway !

Andrew dont rely on those AOL helplines. 1. Most are based in India 2. They speak English like Spaniards 3. They'll keep you talking for hours 4. They are very expensive 5. There answer to every problem is to send you a new router/modem -I've got a bloody houseful AOL are notoriously difficult to re-install unless you are a computer genius - I finished up calling in a guy from Uttoxeter who was brilliant
