Try to keep all the rumours and (stands back aghast) actual signings in one place?
So far on a first flit through the board this morning we have:
Henri Camara rumoured by BEB as nailed on
Marlon Harewood (hardly a new story) but seems to be something in it (wouldn't pay more than £2m myself!)
Kevin Kuryani mentioned a few times
And a plea to sign Jason Roberts :-)
Coates has indicated on SSN this morning that he thinks TP wants three - presume he will get a left winger, a striker and one other? Doesn't really need any more defenders (although that doesn't always stop him from buying them!)

here's 1 for you ;d ;d best news yet ;d www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_4723343,00.html Jermaine Pennant is hoping to fulfil his 'dream' of playing in Spain by securing a move away from Liverpool. The 25-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular first-team place at Anfield following his arrival from Birmingham in 2006. This season, with the Reds flying high in the Premier League, the winger has been restricted to just two top-flight starts. Understandably disappointed at being forced to kick his heels on the sidelines, Pennant has been strongly linked with a New Year switch away from Merseyside. Speculation has suggested that a move to Spain is a distinct possibility, with Primera Liga giants Real Madrid believed to have expressed an interest. Pennant is said to be reluctant to move to the Santiago Bernabeu for fear of finding himself fulfilling back-up duties once again, but may welcome a move to Real's capital rivals Atletico - who are also reported to be keen on the former Arsenal man. "I want to play on a regular basis and my dream is to do that in Spain," he said. "My style of play would fit into the Spanish way."

I'd LIKE to see Danny Murphy come here, and I think the deal 'do-able'. Bullard yes but just can't see it can you?

Bullard will leave fulham but he won't be coming to us. My money's on spurs.
harewood is worth more than 2 million imo so if we got him for that I'd be very pleased. 4 million more likey I reckon but he'd still be a good signing for us .
Camara seems likely and at the rumoured 750 k would be an absolute bargain.
no chance of Jason Roberts.
I'd still like to see Pennant come here but seems unlikely now and I'd still like to see us put in another big offer in for Ledley.

i personally think a left back or a centre back is what we need
lets face it
after abdy and shawcross. its cort and sonko, so if we move higgy to centre back .we need cover at left back.
winger striker or 2. left back

More likely a right back, striker and a midfielder.Higgy's done well at left back.Somebody more mobile than Griff. And a playmaker

If we get three in, it is likely to be at least one big striker (Harewood?) and one left midfielder (Ledley/Surman?) in the standard Pulis mould and maybe one pacey player who can play all across the front line as cover/an option off the bench (Camara?).
If it were my choice, I'd also like to see a proper left back (Leighton Baines?) so Higgy can move inside to partner The Rock and a ball playing central midfielder (Danny Murphy was a good shout I saw on another thread).

Didn't Coates said we'd get 'at least' three in. I think he will get more than three. Add a couple of loans, i think 5.

didn't we do the "at least [insert number]" game throughout the summer? We kept going on about "irons in the fire" right up until the point we panic bought two players we didn't want.
We will see

Can anyone see this happening as I wouldnt be to pleased about losing him.

Wot about a move for Nacho Novo for Rangers. He aint a bad player. He isn't a good one either , a workhorse, we have plenty of them. I'd love to see Beattie, a goalscorer who will put in all those balls which bobble around the area at the brit Oh, Harewood also ,think he'd be a real handful in this Stoke team.

Agree about Beattie Mad boy Tom. He is a natural goalscorer who knows where the onion bag is and would get us 10 goals by end of season.

Stupid as it may sound I still think Kevin Phillips would have been a good squad player for us this season, should have offered him a deal when he was free.
