Has anyone seen masters football on sky?
I think if we can tempt a few of these to return to the big time we would have one hell of a team and the much needed top flight experience we need.
I am sure we could pick most of these pros up for around £100,000 and on low wages.
signing
Efan Ekoku (good in the air, mama replacment?) Peter Beagrie (return of the king of the wing?) Stuart Barlow (fox in the box) Kevin Pressman (proven quality) David Oldfield (toughen up the midfield(again!))
I am sure we could get these 5 for under half a million and this would assure us premiership status and the £40 million winfall.
I(me) welcome your suggestions
sign em up tone!

I'm not sure that's the way to go - I don't think Tone's 100-mile-an-hour, up-and-at-'em style would suit them at all.
I think a more realistic idea is to sign one or two of them as "impact" players to bring off the bench in the last 3 1/2 minutes. Peter Bearsley's always had that first few yards in his head - surely that would mean that his advancing years would not affect his overall game too much.
If you combined signing two of the "Masters" with a couple of young guns from Crewe academy and shipped out Ric (£9m to Everton) and Griff (£150K swap deal with Crewe) and you might be onto a winner.
