"i'll do my best as usual" - Vincent Pericard 29.12.2008...Classic!! Is this for real? I'm waiting for Ashton Kutcher to jump out any minute and say "Stoke City - you've been 'punked' " It is going to be truly painful to get behind this bloke and support him....this is going to be a true test of our allegience, i think

We have no one else so lets see what he can do, i know hes had plenty of chances before but lets get behind him and hope for the best, he was good once as portsmouth fans will tell you so lets hope he finds some of that (very) old form because my god we need something!

If he had any sort of skill as a striker to look even remotely dangerous, or do ANYTHING on a pitch then yes. Vince has done nothing when he's been played, as he did(nt) last season. I'd be more inclined to stick Soro upfront.

i would seriously hope that the hierarchy at stoke have read that and are as we speak putting a major effort in to get strikers in at 1 minute past midnight on Jan 1st, because we cannot wait til the end of january to sort it out.

He reminds me of some of the hopefuls on X factor who think they can sing, have they never watched a video of themselves ?
Mind you, this sort of delusion starts at the very top.
Gordon actually believes he can manage the economy.

Not in a drop-the-soap-in-prison way, but booing him inner going do much good, is it.

As I finished reading that, a small tear dripped down my cheek at the thought of Pericard once again pulling on a Stoke shirt! Please, please please can Kitson and Sidibe get fit really really quickly.

When Pericard came on yesterday I just wanted to go home, I feel so short changed whenever I see wingers sat on the bench with Cresswell on the wing, its so depressing, but then the thought of Pericard becoming our main striker for the next 3 games against 2 of the best teams in the Prem, OMG .
And lets be totally honest what striker would want to come to Stoke now we are in n obvious relegation battle. I thought wins against Hull Fulham and Blackburn and West Ham we would attract some quality in the transfer window. Now we will attract wannabes and all those sell by date players.

Pericard total 120 games 19 goals = a percentage of 0.15 goals per game in other words every 6.3 games he plays he will score one goal.
On that basis alone (not including FA Cup games) he will score against Man City, his next goal will then be against Middlesboro on 21 March and then again on 9th May against Hull.
He has more chance of being arrested for speeding being thrown in jail having a tag being released the tag falling off being re-arrested back into jail then let out again before saying give me a chance I will come good. LMAO
This was TPs first ever signing on his return to Stoke in June 2006 on a 3 year contract.
He has as much chance of scoring more than 3 goals this season in the league than I have of becoming an astronaut going to the moon whilst eating a corned beef sandwich, and as I dont like corned beef it aint gonna happen.
