Stoke are in big trouble. We have 2 strikers availiable for the next game who would struggle to score goals in the championship. We have a squad that lacks discipline and a manager that seems to be losing the plot. We need to bring in a few players before Jan 10th otherwise we will be really and truly stuffed. We cannot afford to damage our goal difference any further against the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea, but with the players we have avaliable at present we will be staring relegation in the face. Tony Pulis has done very well so far, but since the beginning of December he seems to have lost the plot. He signed players for good money in August, but has these hidden agendas which prevents him from playing these players. We have Soares, Tonge and Lawrence avaliable to replace a left winger, so who does he bring on - Pericard. Vince isn't good enough for a botom half championship side let alone a Premiership team looking for a winning goal. This then brings me on to the subject of Richard Cresswell. He had a fantastic game against Man Utd and led me to believe he could do a job today, but he isn't a left winger. He proved that in the Championship and he's proved it again this season. Pulis had 12 months to bring in a left winger, but failed. He then preceeds to play square pegs in round holes and employs ridiculous tactics away from home. Pulis' sides aren't disciplined. We pick up countless yellow cards that could be easily avoided and now we have picked up 2 red cards in as many games despite already having an injury hit squad. As I type we are picking up another booking for dissent. With 10 men and few player sto choose from, shouldn't Pulis tell the players to get on with it? We seem to have hit a crisis. There is unrest in the dressing room, we find it hard to score and we have very few players to choose from. Signings must come in next week otherwise we will find ourselves adrift in the bottom three, but as usual Pulis and his cronies who wouldn't be in employment if it wasn't for him will be scratching around at 16:30 on February 2nd. Prove me wrong Pulis and keep us up.

Isn't Cresswell suspended for the Hartlepool game-5 bookings?

Plus the fact that players like AB Faye may see this as an opportunity to jump ship and with big Sam allegedly in the hunt and Lenny maybe on his way out.

And just got worse, as we go two down. Game over, game lost but I guess the boys 'played 'ard today' (or is it fantastic?) so all is not too bad...

You're right Joe. All will depend upon who Pulis manages to bring in in January. We desperately need attacking options. Pace and flair are a must but will these players want to come to Stoke if we're down in the basement struggling for survival. Probably not....
