I was slightly surprised to turn on my radio this morning and NOT hear that Man U / Sir Alex had lodged a writ against Poll for that one his comment re Sir Alex and ref choices was pretty direct...... as for Rooney, why do I think that someone else "ghost wrote" that article, Rooney never uses long words like that does he ?

So according to Poll, Foy would not have sent Rooney off because he is on the short list for the Carling Cup final, and that would have jeopardised his chances if Man Utd get in the final. that's quite a statement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
