We miss him terribly. It shows how thin our squad is. Money needs to be spent in January.

We only miss him because of the way we CHOOSE to play. The myth of Mama is an embarassment to our great club. Play a proper system with two strikers and pace out wide and virtually any forward in the top two leagues would scor more than Sidibe.

But Sidibe offers more to the team then just goal scoring, he is a lot like the Lord, he is a creator. A rock to lean on. Someone to pick you up when you feel down! WE MISS HIM!!

Calm down silly boy. Football is all about opinions and to me Mama's presence in our team is one of the reasons why we don't play attractive football. Tell me which other strikers playing regularly score less? Prick.

We choose to play that way because it works for us growler.Even you must accept that,it is all about survival this season, and i think the system we play will give us a real chance. There are not an abundance of quality strikers available to change things masssively.

I D could have probably worded that better but hes probably just fed up with people spouting the same crap, if you can't see what Mama brings to the team then you obviously don't watch Stoke very often

Tell me which other strikers playing regularly score less? Prick. Who gives a toss about attractive football? Bugger off to West Brom if you want that rubbish. There's nothing attractive about tippy-tappying about for half an hour on the halfway line. Watching us push established Premier League teams around and smashing up their sterile tippy-tappy, however, is entertaining and effective.

Premiership quality strikers and wingers cost a fortune, the fact that the average Harewood would set us back £4m shows this. Unless we are going to spend £20m in January to sign three quality players then the Mama system is the only way forward.

Who mentioned tip tapping it around MD. Surely we should be striving for a mix of what TP and Mowbray bring to the game? If we had it, surely Mama wouldn't get in that side - I don't see what is wrong with saying that. As for people spouting the same crap (Boosh), I think you will find that is the role of the embarassing Mama Appreciation Society. I admire Mama's attitude and commitment but I don't think there are many people who would truthfully describe him as a Premier class player.

Sooner we get him back the better, the stats speak for themselves, we score goals when mama is in the team.

Oh come on, don't deny that you smiled when Mama was mauling the England captain around when at home to Chelsea. Terry didn't beat him in the air once.

exactly. its my opinion that if we can limp through january and end up still there or there abouts, then staying up is an incredibly realistic target given our last 7 home games.... portsmouth bolton boro newcastle blackburn west ham wigan all (dare i say) winnable games....

Tell me which other strikers playing regularly score less? Prick. How many times, Mama is not a striker. He plays the Mama position, a unique position that holds the whole team together. When Plan A functions properly, goals in open play come from the lone striker and the two wide midfielders (look at last season's statistics). I really thought we had established the nature of Mama's role towards the end of last season.

Only reason he's missed coz we have no quality backup players in forward positions---Kitson,Cresswell,Pericard--total wank.

Mama is missed. I think people felt he wouldn't make the step up, but he has simply raised his game and is clearly good enough at this level.
