Star striker Ricardo Fuller is a late injury scare on the eve of Stoke's FA Cup re-run at Newcastle tomorrow. The Jamaican international has been under treatment for the various bruises he sustained at Ipswich on Saturday.
"He's a bit sore around the ankle after being battered left, right and centre on Saturday," said manager Tony Pulis this afternoon.
But Pulis remains confident his biggest goalscoring threat, who has 12 to his name this term, will be fit to lead his attack at St James' Park.
Pulis also remains tentatively hopeful that Andy Wilkinson can join fellow full back Carl Dickinson in declaring himself fit for tomorrow's third-round replay.
Wilkinson is responding to treatment for the groin strain he sustained at Ipswich, but Gabriel Zakuani's second-half form at Portman Road gives Pulis the option of resting his stricken defender for a few more days.
Pulis adds: "No-one should be under any illusion about how difficult this game is because Newcastle are packed full of top players, but we go there with absolutely nothing to lose and really relishing a second crack."

i think this is just our tone playing mind games, how often do you here fergie say this kind of thing about his best players. ricardo will start tmra. however saying that if he's not fit we shouldn't risk him as the league is more important.
