Any thoughts on where's a good place for away fans?
We're thinking of drinking in town near Embankment and getting the tube up.

Was talking to a Die Hard Blues fan here in Brum, and he went to a Wetherspoons, last season, which he says opens dead early and is about 10 minute walk from the away end, no mither either. Does anyone know where it is?

The spoons put is fine and is a 15 minute walk from the away end.
If you are happy to simply booze the afternoon away, the Denmark arms is excellent, most welcoming and is about a 10 minute walk to the ground and is located on the same road as the spoons pub.
Last time, we ate in spoons then walked down to the arms for a few beers. I am going posh this time, and my WHU supporting friend is treating me to a day in the box.

When walking out of Upton Park tube station, walk about 5 mins left down Green Street (past the Duke of Edinburgh pub) and there is a new bar called Mo's bar, its new, has plasmas and a huge back / outdoor area / is pretty friendly compared to other pubs in the dump that is Upton Park!
