Credit where credit is due, did very well yesterday and got in some good positions inside Gary Neville, if only Fuller hadn't been greedy on a coupe of occasions, he was in some good shooting positions reday to receive a pass. Quite a few on here were loking to have him cleared out but he came in and did enough to hold his place.

But surely we are looking to bring a better midfielder in soonest in which case Danny is going to struggle to be first choice,

Danny really impressed me yesterday where he showed skills with the ball I didn't think he had. Danny's problem though is his pace when he is playing left midfield, when he plays in central midfield he has always done well for us. I actually think Danny should be given a new chance in the role Glen Whelan played yesterday (even if Glen had a decent game too yersterday).

overall a good team performance and i realy enjoyed watching some of the passing, which we have lacked in abundance lately.we need to hold the ball more away from home so maybe this line up could be good at whu.

Did well, has worked on his fitness and strength , problem is premiership quality is lacking, e.g his chance second half needed to go in, somehow we need to find that standard of player

Did well did Danny and as long as he carries on performimg like that then it can only be a good thing for Stoke City Football Club.
Well done Danny, take a bow.

He did well but should have buried that header from the corner - head it down son...

He did well but should have buried that header from the corner - head it down son... I just felt that Danny wasn't quite tall enough in order to be able to head it downwards, now if it was someone of Ryans height then yes that would have being an unforgivable miss.

If the lads were not going to be up for that match then not only would TP find himself out of a job pretty sharpish but those very same players shouldn't be in football.

not a bad game but the fact is if we continue to play Pugh, Cresswell, Pericard we WILL be relegated. they are not good enough for this level, one half decent performance should not tempt us to continue with them.
