Apologies if it's already been mentioned but was the 4th official too scared to tell him to get back within his technical area when he came for a rant? It wasnt as if it was he had strayed out for a couple of seconds either but when Pulis so much as puts a toenail outside it in a game they are quickly on his case in true jobsworth fashion.

I noticed that too and along with the non bookings of ronaldo and rooney just sums up the fear they may get from the wrath of fergie. The tail is wagging the dog.

Much as I have loathed Taggart over the years, actually thought he behaved himself for the most part yesterday......maybe it's just that Phil Brown has taken my levels of manager-rage to new heights recently.......although how I laughed out loud to see his half-time antics at Maine Road yesterday..........priceless.........

Yeah! seems a few of us noticed it. 4th official probably couldn't be arsed as that seemed to be the attitude of the ref and his 2 assistants, unless it was against Stoke.

The officials were nothing but starstruck. Far easier to administer justice to players they've 'never heard of.'
