Surely after watching tonight the FA will ook at this game again.
Rooney If Ab faye had been any closer to this cavy little street urchin then it would have been an assault. He knew full well what he was doing - after all, he does it every game - and did so with a velocity that means that there's no grey area over this. He's a talented by utterly loathsome individual. He's at the right club.
Ronaldo Yet again he has a kick out. Nowt life threatening, but imagine if Fuller had donethe same. He's done it twice in a fortnight now. A pedant/realist might say that if the ref had a pair, then Ronaldo wouldn't have been on the pitch for Wilko to foul.
<doesn't hold beath waiting for FA/Chris Foy>
I presume/assume Mr Foy will get the 'Styles welcome' the next time he visits our abode?

I'm in agreement that they SHOULD take action retrospectively, but I'm not sure they do so unless an official complaint is made by the club.
However, this may be something I've overheard at some point without being able to clarify it.
Any better information would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the ref can look back retroactively if he didn't brandish a yellow card,... remember the sheffield player who elbowed Hume ? because he was booked at the time I don't think they could do anything about it ? but since Rooney wasn't booked at the time, I think they could review it ? I could be totally wrong on that though. edit, here's the Morgan/Hume story, it says the FA couldn't take action because the ref had punished morgan at the time, but Rooney wasn't booked, s presumably they could go back and take a look at it ? I wouldn't hold your breath though, Rooney stamped on a guys neck in europe and got away with it, www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11683_4654620,00.html

They won't take any action unless the club complains or give the ref a very low score, there is a ref's assesor in th stand but I can' see tat helping us.

We have benefited from some dubious decisions this season as well. There have been at least two clear-cut penalties that should have been given against us.
Foy what shit yesterday, and even the Man U fans in my local said they felt it was one of the worst refereering performances of the season.
Lets not get all precious about it. There is a danger that we end up sounding like wingeing scousers.

I hope no action is taken against the two tossers in question because we have already played our 2 games against the Sh1t whereas most of our basement rivals have not, think about it.

Good point, Donkey. We have to look out for ourselves and nothing is going to happen to them now. Let's see if our peers suffer the same injustices. If they do then it will even out that way. In no way am I condoning anything, but shit happens and we can't undo anything.

What pissed me off the most about that prick of a ref was that he allowed the Manscum players to surround him, he has the powers to book even send off players for that kind of behaviour. I was really suprised he didn't get on his knees and suck Rooney off.
