Rooney should have got a booking, minimum. The linesman was RIGHT THERE and didn't give anything - could it have been more blatent? Didn't see what Ronaldo did to Wilko, must have been off getting a brew.
DEFINITELY think that Ricci should have had a penalty when Van Der Sar brought him down.

What match were you watching??? Ronaldo kicked wilko, if we had doen the same instant red card. Utd obv are good passing side, but we played very well just dont have the goal scorers in the team. Nice to know the ref was just and fair, utter piss take.

Most jump with the arms, don't talk stupid.
Neville didn't do anything different than Whelan so didn't deserve a red.
You seriously didn't see what Ronaldo did effloresce???????
Kicking out after being tackled is allowed now is it?
It's no wonder Ronaldo and Rooney are seen as scum by the majority of British football fans. Also no wonder why people don't care about England any more when you have the likes of Rooney the thug playing.
0-0 was the right result and the referee has favoured them big time.

Ronaldo kicked out at Wilkinson and Rooney elbowed Faye, thats without the Fuller incident where Van De Saar fumbled a penalty in my opinion. We were very unlucky today to be honest.

I thought me and my lad were the only stokies in a place full of shit fans wearing all their new kit off santa, (in a cricket club FFS) when out of the blue quite a few neutrals came over to our side of the room and started saying thinsg like "that ref has got a utd top on under there" "why hasn't Rooney, Ronaldo, neville got booked" fuller is getting bundled all over the place and no fouls" "why doesn't he give Stoke a foul when he does Utd for the same offence" i had to agree Chris Foy you cost us the game today.

To be fair, Ronaldo showed two acts of petulence that in todays rule book, should have been classed as yellow cards. Not sure about Neville? And I hear Rooney should have gone. Wilko should definitely have gone, I just wish he had done more damage in the process. ;D

Roony was the worst of the lot the fucking baby. cant remember who it was he obstructed but he wrapped his arm round someones head to get to the ball and obstruct our man.
Ronaldo should have got a yellow for lashing out at wilko the little cunt'.
Nope no mention of any of Mcdonald Uniteds fouls.
Never hated the shit more than today.

No else but me think that Wilko's first booking should not have been a booking, foul yes, booking no.
Funny how the blinkers went on whenever the Utd players led with their arms or fouled from behind or kicked out after the ball had gone or swung an elbow etc, etc.
Wilko should have known what was going to happen though and controlled himself, he was having a good game up until then.

Rooney - elbowed Faye off the ball
Ronaldo - retaliated to a Stoke tackle
Wilkinson red card - definite yellow, but what was the first yellow card for?
Cresswell and Fuller - conned today, fouled all over the place but had many free kicks given against them.

This Norwegian newspaper gives Stoke a lot of credit. Words like "furious intensity", "a solid dose of muscles", "Wilkinson kicked Ronaldo quiet" and "heroic Stoke team". www.dagbladet.no/2008/12/26/sport/fotball/premier_league/stoke/manchester_united/4159395/The sending off was justified, but the newspaper also writes that a few more players should have been sent off: Rooney for elbowing Ab Faye (while the assistant ref stood close by, indicating a different set of rules for Man Ure), Ronaldo for Kicking out and Cresswell for elbowing Vidic.

Taken from the BBC
'There was no excuse for the challenge, although Ronaldo was also fortunate to escape with a kick at the Stoke defender a few minutes earlier.
Rooney had also shown signs of indiscipline earlier by throwing out an elbow at Abdoulaye Faye in a touchline clash. '

Ronaldo should have got a booking for retalliation. He did it the other week . The Ref lost control and especially with Rooney and the elbow ; the linesman flaged the little runt. The trouble with Manure they think their above the law and if you book any of em Fergie goes spare and shouts victimisation. TWATS.

More is coming: "Fans furious at Ronaldo" "Ronaldo should have been the first one to go" "Sitting down the cry-baby kicked out on Wilkinson" "The ref mysteriously failed to use his whistle, but finally found it when Wilkinson was sent off" www.nettavisen.no/sport/fotball/england/article2484212.ece

Just watched replay. 60th to 70th minutes - Rooney off, commentators say so, Penalty foul by VdS on Ric, commentators say penalty, and Ronaldo clear retaliation on Wilko.
Cheats, cheats, cheats, cheats.
How many times do they have to cheat, before someone does something.
I am going to stand for Parliament with one policy; shut down ManU and cart all their glory hunting 'fans' off to Argentina. Think I would get any votes?

But........Fuller has to stop throwing himself around and being theatrical. He was up against one of the world's best defenders and ( like at Old Trafford ) he couldn't handle it so went petulant, as he always does if it's not going his way
all those "sandwiches" in the box in the 2nd half, he made little effort and went down too easily
But, agreed the Ref favoured them a heck of a lot....and MOTD will make no mention of that whatsoever and I bet they don't show any of the Utd antics at all....mustn't upset Sir Alex any more must they ??
