Well done lads, excellent effort. Unfortunately we were let down by appalling refereeing and Wilko's impetulence.

good effort unlucky lads, playing against a man utd 11 is hard enough but a man utd 12 including the ref is ridiculous.
These refs ARE biased to the top 4, somthing needs to be done about this.

I think we will be bottom three by the end of tonight. That point today would have made a difference. TP has got to pick them up and let's get at West Ham in a couple of days.

Rooney should have been red carded for the deliberate elbow attempt with real intent. Ronaldo should have been red carded for the retaliation. Ronaldo should have been yellow carded several times for blatant diving, sorry simulation. Van de Sar lost the ball and brought Ricci down - red card and penalty. Chris Foy has bottled all of the big decisions in the favour of ManU. The Tevez offside was given by the linesman who missed the Rooney attempted assault. Wilkos 2nd yellow was unfortunately justified. Bet Chris Foy was happy about that. totally agree, its not right, these refs should face dicipline just like the players

Will poor discipline end up costing us our PL spot? That's the problem, we already have injuries and now more players are going missing due to bad discipline, that is Fuller's 6th yellow of the campaign already! We don't have the squad to survive with this number of missing players,so January is so important to not only get decent players to add something but to get a squad able to survive more injuries and suspensions.

Wilkos 2nd yellow was unfortunately justified. Bet Chris Foy was happy about that. Ex-fucking-actly. The wanker with the whistle has gift wrapped them the 3 points. Absolutely fucking shocking display from the referee - the first 30 minutes I actually thought he was doing ok but from there onwards he just completely lost it and just bent over for Sir Alex to slip him a length. Untold challenges and fouls by the Shit that went completely unpunished. Wilkinson unfortunately after a good first half showed his inexperience - however greasy wankerboy did make the most of it. The Van der Sar incident was completely laughable!!! He made complete hash of collecting the ball and realised Fuller was coming and took him out whilst 'simulating' (cheating in other words) that he was fouled. There is no other way of looking at it - he should of been sent off and a penalty awarded. But never in a fucking decade of Sundays would Wanker Foy of taken that decision. He set the tone for the 2nd half when O'Shea barge Fuller off the ball completely unpunished and it just went down hill from there. In short- Unfuckingbelieveable! To top it off the goal was complete against the run of play also - even with 10 v 12 we holding on comfortably. But they just had the piece of luck combined with the assistance of wanker Foy they need.

Got really fiesty for first 30 mins of second half. someone was going to go and wilko was probably most likely. But like the rest he gave everything and he's always been too strong into a tackle. ref had no choice on that one, but he was way too soft on united.
We had two good chances and a good shout for a peno ... they had three or four good chances ...
... a close game against one of the 3 best teams in the league is no mean effort, but with 11 on the pitch at the end we may have got a point.
if griff isn't fit again, I reckon davis might get his full debut next time out. lil-faye played well in midfield and ricci worked really hard up front. cresser had his best game for us as well. the defense was 1000 times better than blackburn.
If anything costs us our PL spot at the end of the season it will be failure to take our chances ... even when they aren't sitters you gotta stick at least one away at this level.
ah

We will probably be in the botom three for most of january. We have some really tough games, lets hope our confidence doesn't get too much of a knock. The transfer window is vital.

FFS - the BBC censored my post - wtf?
Cresswell - arm up yes, intent - no - unlucky to get a yellow!
Let's look at ManU: Rooney - deliberate attempted elbow assault - should have been a straight red. Ronaldo - retaliation - should have been a straight red! Rooney - persistent in the face gobbing off at the ref - several yellow cards... Ronaldo - persistent diving/simulation - several yellow cards. Vidic - headbutted Fuller from behind. Fletcher - ran straight through Fuller. VanDeSar - spills the ball, takes down Fuller, penalty, red card. None - yes not one of the above even merited a ticking off by SirAlex's own referee Chris Foy.

the BBC also censored this post:
ah so one elbow with intent from Rooney is OK....
and one retaliatory kick from Ronaldo
and one deliberate foul by VanDeSar
and one headbutt by Vidic
I am at a compete loss to explain why

All these excuses boys, you sound like scousers, 6 goals over two legs, with not a single reply, you arent and will never be good enough to compete with United (English Champions, European Champions, World Champions). Heres to watching you put up an entertaining relegation fight for the rest of the season.

Some world champions! 80 odd minutes to score against a team with ten men who are missing 5 key players. You Man u fans may enjoy travelling from all over the country to to squeal in delight at watching a bunch of pampered, prima dona millionaires strut around but give me a bunch of proletarian battlers anytime. Mind you I can understand your delight at beating us at Stoke for the first time in nearly 30 years and it was a real surprise for us when you scored today because we didn't realise you were there till then.

but many positives to take and stay up.
All games except Arsenal and Chelsea away offer possibilities of points.
We are the only team to have played Fergie's lot twice.
The following have yet to play them at all: Fulham, Wigan and Boro
