I darent hope for anything. As long as we dont get slaughtered again. Could with the odd Man Poo injury eg Rooney, Ronaldo or maybe a sending off.

Not to bothered about the score, obviously I hope for a win, but I just want to hear a cacophony of noise inside fortress Britannia, and especially when Ronaldo gets the ball, would be nice to have it so bad that they have to sub him boo him off the park

I nearly always boo the opposition when their names are announced, particularly if they are near the top of the table/contain international "stars" etc

It's too easy to let one's heart rule one's head. Don't let it happen, resist such bollocks at all costs, be true to yourself. One club, one United.
Heart; Stoke City 0 : 2 Manchester United
Head; Stoke City 0 : 4 Manchester United

if sonko plays 0 - 5 if he doesn't 0 - 3 anyone who thinks stoke will score is barmy , you can't expect fuller to beat 3 world class players on his own ! then again , maybe pericard will give the peformance pulis has been waiting for .

Is Vidic suspended after his red card in that stupid competition's final, or does that only apply to Man Ure's games in Europe?

vidic will be playing mate if selected
I just hopen that we paly with our hearts on our sleeves and really give it everything weve got and then some. We have waited a very long time to play the likes of man u at home in the premier league.
cool heads, resiliance and determination of the highest order will be needed in buckets to get anywhere near a good result. it is not impossible but obviously extremely difficult so as fans we need to be there cheering on the boys every step of the way. come on lads.

Stoke City 3-1 Manchester United!
Barthez will have an absolute mare, Goodfellow will open the scoring, then they'll equalise through some Uraguayan ponce, then Goodfellow will put us ahead, followed by Big Chris to wallop 'em, their left back Danny Pugh will be run ragged!!
Hold on, nah, that were last time we met them at The Brit :-)
Gooaaaarrrrn Stoke!

Half Man Half Biscuit... ;D Remember seeing them play at Shelleys..late 1980's when they bought out their first album 'Back in the DHSS'...(I think) All I Want For Christmas is A Dukla-Prague Away kit... ;D Anyway, enough merriment, lets get back to Boxing-Day...I usually come on here and 'big-up' Stokes' chances but I'm afraid that IMO we will be tonked by Man U...their work rate/competitiveness is the same as ours (when we play our very best)..but they have skill and ability as well, in every position on the pitch..which only the likes of Fuller and Ab Faye can match.. Few things in life would give me greater pleasure than seeing us beat Man Utd..but after watching the last 6 games Stoke have played, I think you would be pushing optimism to the very brink, to think we can get anything from this game... Just hope I'm completely wrong.. I just hope that we create an absolute cacophony of noise down at The Brit and make it as absolutely intimidating as possible..that's all we, the supporters can do, the rest is down to the manager and team...and if they put as much passion, committment and effort into the game as we have done over the years, then we'll produce the biggest shock of the season...

Oi, mongchops, did you go to the game at Old Trafford or just stay up after bedtime to watch it on MOTD? There were plenty of empty seats in the third tier in the corner where you could have gone. Had you seen the game, you would know that aside from his jammy free kicks, Ronaldo completely lost control of his composure and became the worst player on the pitch. He just gave the ball away and gestured at Stoke fans. Same happened at the Villa game. A vastly overrated mard-arse if there was ever one. He's probably about the 30th best player in the world. I can name 30 better players.
