He is dire.
Tackling is abysmal. The next time he plays, count the amount of tackles he actually makes, I'd be amazed if he gets into double figures. He makes Leon Cort look like Stuart Pearce.
Can't pass to save his life. Somehow manages to mess up 5 yard passes and overhits every through ball by at least 10 yards. It doesn't help that it takes him 5 seconds longer than everyone else on the pitch to pick his pass, by which time he's been dispossessed.
Always caught in possession. He tries to turn in midfield more times than a Sunday league player.

He goes missing far too often and is constantly caught in possesion.

Personally I dont think he's good enough either
BUT - If he is given the free role to roam forward and support Fuller, Get on the end of crosses that a 5 man midfield could generate (with Soares AND Tonge starting) then he would be a damn site better option that Pericard.
Isnt the issue THAT simple (ie better than Pericard / Cresswell) ?

That'll be the game Pulis saw then.

The problem would be whether any of his passes get anywhere near Fuller.

Like the Wolves fans say games pass him by. Seyi land must be more interesting than playing football.

At least Seyi looks our most likely to score from central midfield .
At the head of a diamond he would be a more effective player than he has been allowed to be in narrow wide or deep lying central areas.

"he gets about the pitch"
at no more than 3 miles an hour, and under an invisible cloak

I think I've seen him have one good game, against Villa, and one ok game against Arsenal. Otherwise he's been beyond awful. Frequently anonymous, surprisingly lightweight for a guy his size, unbelieveably wasteful, and pretty damn lazy. At £3m, a contender for TP's worst buy ever at this stage.

Sounds like you have just described a midfield version of Vincent Pericard. Not so clever in the transfer market is he our Tone.

He's signed some quality players who have really made a difference during his time here. He's also signed some lemons, llike any manager. I just hope he's not a Curbishley-style spendaholic manager, who brings in diamonds on a budget and goes to pot when given a few quid to spend.

I can't make up my mind what type of midfielder he is supposed to be,attacking?, holding?. Says it all really.
