Eric Bristow once raised monies for the local convent but despite raising hundreds and hundreds of pounds he was never invited back because he hit two treble twenties and his third arrow hit the wire of the treble twenty which hit the nun in the head and killed her and the cheeky ref shouted!!!!!!!!!!!
ONE NUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN DEADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD AND EIGHTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTY.

I once did a 153 checkout (treb 20, treb 19, double 18) while playing for my pub team in the Burslem and District League a couple of years ago. I was shaking like a bloody leaf after the double 18 went in! And for 1 week only i had the highest checkout of the season until Mark Frost, whos now on the PDC circuit, hit 160 while playing for his team! That same season i also hit 5, 180's during the entire season. Piece of piss i tell yer! I taught Phil Taylor everything he knows!

Salop, keep putting the time in on the board mate. Once the first drops you'll find the second won't be far away.
Sadly after you've hit a few the buzz you get off hitting a 180 fades somewhat so enjoy 'em ;D

Hit two "lippys" many of time but the third always ends up a mile off, sometimes even out the board! Very ver tough game, used to practice but didn't see much improvment so don't bother now, still record my 3 dart average when plaaying at home, usually around a megre 35-45, best ever was 79, a fluke i think! Best out 125, ob, treb, dubl top, was over the moon; convinced i'll never hit a maximum, my arse just goes!

I used to play for The Roebuck and then The Swan in Biddulph for a couple of seasons in Monday and Tuesday leagues. I saw some improvement when I started practising and playing regularly and hit quite a few 180’s for the time I played (about a year and a half).
Jacked it in this season because I was spending too much money (£25 each night…..the pints add up ) but thinking about getting back into it again.
Love a good game of darts.

I've managed to hit 145 (two trebles and other bull) Never got any higher than 100 since then ;D
Only mess about in the garage though but it is proper dart board and use proper measurements from board with the makeshift masking tape ;D
