It's been mentioned on these boards before about the live Stoke coverage all coming in the form of home matches on both Sky Sports & Setanta, and the obvious reason this Premier League season will be because if a Stoke away fixture was broadcast live, the powers that be at these television networks wouldn't see it as an audience grabbing game, as the predicted outcome would be a home win every time.
So grumpy, yet settled in that theory we plod along, however i spy with my fuckin' eye that in the space of SIX DAYS in February these two matches are scheduled for live Sky Sports covergae....
Feb :
SUN 22 : Fulham Vs West Brom (13:30) SAT 28 : Everton Vs West Brom (12:45)
Now where's the logic in that, unless Sky believe that West Brom can win those matches, or maybes its possible that these could be matches Brazil need to win to stay in the league at that point, who knows, but it's got my gander a bit

It's a bit of a pain in the arse that the Boxing Day fixture is on Sky as well. The revised early KO means that exiles like me have to set off before 9.00 in the morning to guarantee a parking spot . Ah well, the trials and tribulations of being in the Premiership.

Ah well, the trials and tribulations of being in the Premiership. considering its is probably one of our most atrractive game for tickets it does give EVERY stokie the opportunity to watch and wont affect the attendance thankyou sky in this case

Mind you, having been to a couple of away games and watching some others on live streams, I'm pretty glad the tripe we play on our travels isn't exposed to a nationwide audience.

Well i reckon they are showing them because there will be lots of goals.... against Brazil. Which makes for good tv.

Never really thought about it like that. We dont want Brazil to be rock bottom, hopelessly adrift, but would be better to be only one point from safety, stealing points off the teams in between them and us. Come on Brazil!! And good old Incey!! (after sat of course)

i was thinking exactly the same fixtures with west brazil playing 2 consequtive away games live on sky sports? what is the point, they are obviously not showing us away from home live becasue they believe we will get trounced, which from the 2nd half of the newcastle performance we showed that we can stand up and give a cracking account of ourselves, but why show brazil? They're terrible for god sake!
