Ive said from the start i wouldn't want him, however much he can offer to the team, his attitude stinks, and is a prime candidate to destroy our good dressing room.

I would sign him asap, the lad is quality and single handedly saved brum from relegation. He may have issues off the pitch but i have never heard anybody have ago about his attitude on the pitch. Sign him up

What a tit Pennant is... just goes to prove that some players would much rather rake the big money in and sit on the sidelines than go out there and play regular football, albeit for a lower team. I've gone off the guy now, I say we don't bother with him as he obviously doesn't want to come here plus his wages would be huge and I couldn't see him taking a wage cut tbh I'd much rather get someone else in like Routledge/ Ledley etc than this guy tbh. He's a quality player but hasn't got the right attitude

Prick.
One of them players would rather sit on his arse on the bench and earn cash instead of playing regular first team on a lower wage.
Tosser.

pisses on those rumours that were knocking around a few weeks ago that it was the club who turned us down and not pennant.
all depends on whether TP is prepared to put up with an arsehole in the dressing room in exchange for his quality on the pitch.

Total Cock.
Great Player.
He would be by far and away our best midfielder if he put his attitude to one side, at least for the matches.
Much better player than Ledley and Routeldge, although i'd b happy with either of them, i'd prefer Pennant, there is no substitute for quality.

To be honest if he sits tight he can leave Liverpool on a free transfer in the summer. He can then sort himself out with a club and get himself a £4m signing on fee. I'd do the same, a £4m signing on fee is something most people wouldn't walk away from.

Trumpton, That was my thought. It could be a win win win for all concearned. We get a quality player without forking out a transfer fee and we see if he can or he wants to do the business for us. If he starts playing up we send him back. He will also be in the shop window so he can get a transfer next season if we don't take him Rafa and Liverpool get rid of him and his wages short term. He gets his free transfer at the end of the season. Go get him Johnny.

It's not what he'd do on the pitch that bothers me, it's what he would do to the dressing room.
So no, not for me.

Option A: Agree to a move, sign for someone like us, be asked to take a hit on wages, meanwhile Liverpool pocket £4m.
Option B: Hang on till the end of the season, negotiate higher wages with a club directly who can pay him a lot more because they will not have to fork out £4m for him in transfer fees.
For every extra £10k a week he gets through this he will personally make half a million extra per year.
Is he lazy and stuck-up or is he just not stupid?

Griffin and Higgy both left stoke last season for the money sorry the chance to play in the premiership so do they have bad attitudes ? wasn't there also a manager who turned us down to goto Bristol City can't remember his name but do this mean he has a bad attitude too ? At the end of the day all footballers are only interested in themselves and will do whatever is best (£££££) for them, I doubt any of our squad would be acting differently if they were in Pennants place.

Pennant is an obnoxious egotistical little git , famous for bad mouthing and trouble causing. I don't think we need someone who is likely to damage the excellent team spirit that Pulis has built up within the team so far...
In short, We'd be bloody crazy to take this lunatic on , no matter how good he is.One player does not make a team.
