to a Cresswell and Pericard as the starting strike force for next week?
If Fuller had been given his matching orders... mama injured. Kitson getting back to fitness.

If Fuller was sent off for that it would surely have been rescinded ? Cresswell needs to be docked some of his 16k (plus 3k appearance bonus) wages for missing that chance, why did he try and postage stamp it ? just pass it around the keeper ffs

I think cresswell was tryin too hard to score an amazin goal tbh and like Serpico said, tried to postage stamp it I'm not convinvced by our depth in strikers, esp since we've got Blackburn next week which, let's face it, is one of those "must win games". this just proves that we need at least one proven goal-scoring striker in Jan...Michael Owen would do the trick imo ;D

Pericard, Cresswell need to be off loaded in Jan, if we can find someone who will pay Cresswell's exuberant wages that is, he played a big part in us getting up last season with 11 goals (?), but he's clearly not good enough a finisher and he certainly is no winger, last week he had a chance he should have buried but dallied on the ball allowed Taylor to make a last ditch tackle, this week he skies one from 7-8 yards.
We're carrying to much dead wood, some of these players need offloading in Jan.

I'm not convinced that they would, considering the huge wages and lack of quality tbh

About as close as I was to winning the lottery. Neither scenario has occurred. Pointless thread innit?

.....and to face the shit ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? The thought of yesterday's team minus Rory, Mama & Fuller versus Scumchester did send the typically negative Stoke fan in me did send me onto the verge of 2 weeks of panic room mode... and almost into a thread entitled 'Bring back the new goalscoring Beast'

we could always play Shawcross and Cort up front, that Samba for Blackburn is a big lad and needs Ryan to give him a battering. ;D Or even Shawcross and soares, big target man, small nippy forward.
