how can you disagree with his honesty ? i think he only said what we all thought .
i think we lacked that kick the team effort that as seen us through the season so far , maybe because mama got carried off so early i don't know . i think fulham came for the point and got it . the big difference for me was they managed to hold onto the ball and play it around more than ourselves due to the the years they have spent in the premiership that we haven't .

My view:- No width & no penetration from either teams. Turgid, boring game cancelled out by playing the same tactics.

It did highlight how much we rely on Mama at the moment. Hopefully Lawrence will soon be back and January will see us not only with cover for Mama but some wide players to give us alternative options.
In the circumstances, Coates is right. We got a point from a game we possibly deserved to lose.

It had got 0v0 all over it from Fulham's point of view. They have only scored 13 goals and conceded 12 so far this season so it was never going to be entertaining. Thier goals against is only bettered by Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Ure. And their's only West Brom scored less.

stantheman7's post - the reference to 'Fulham managed to hold on to the ball and play it around more than ourselves due to the years they've spent inthe Prem' - are we saYing that the ability to hang on to the ball and pass it comes ONLY after years in the Prem? - if so, we are really scraping the barrel for excuses. If our players CAN'T do these simple skills after all the coaching they've had over the years. we really are in 'la-la land'

FFS we are still unbeaten in 6! Fulham have an awesome team with the likes of Johnson, Bullard, Murphy, Zamora and Shwarzer! This time last year I would have bit your hand off for a draw with them!
1 Point WELL earned

wow, never thought id see the day when someone would string together "Fulham" and "awesome team" in the same sentence. maybe that is our problem the last 5-6 games, after getting thrashed by Man U we have gone back to thinking that all the prem teams are awesome. maybe we should replay the arsenal, spurs and villa games during training sessions t oremind hte team of what they can do if they so desire !!

Fulham are a well established premiership team. Liverpool and Aston Villa both drew 0-0 with them!!
