nooooo money could be spent better elsewhere. reaching the end of his carreer and he has lost a lot of his pace, he has been linked with a move back to liverpool which wouldnt suprise me. besides if we did try to sign him wouldnt our near neighbours ussurp us like they did with fowler? lol End of his career? Isn't he like 28? Don't get me wrong, never in a million years but people turning their noses up is ridiculous

He lives in Cheshire still doesn't he so he could spend more time with his horses.
Coates could have his wages paid directly into his Bet 365 account. "
My football management wizardry has now been proven ;D ;D ;D

For the record, if anyone has still got access to Owens interview after last weeks match, try and watch it, he was full of praise for Stoke and he wasn't just being polite. He actually sounded as though he admired our attitude and application. So having watched and heard the guy, I think he would consider a move to Stoke if we approached him. Why would he want to go back to Liverpool and only get the occasional game under Rafa. Werte probably one of the few clubs who could afford him.

Anybody remember the impossible/unlikely signings that WADDO brought in? Who's have though it, Banks, Huddy, Greenhoff, Dobing, Ritchie ,Marshy, Kinell, Dennis, Bluto,Skeels, Salmons Bernard, Mahoney, Haselgrave., Palmer. God, it's enough to make you cry. All thought not good enough elsewhere, injury prone, or out of our reach. What players, what memories.

re the above. I know Dennis, Bluto, Pej, Marsh, Haslegrave, Mahoney(Crewe) were local, but Ozzie red has a habit of confusing me, and moving the keys.

i think he'll go to everton. they're centre forward-less at the moment and he's an everton supporter isnt he? makes sense. depends if they can afford his wages i suppose.
