Again, I know we need to spend more than one million on a main striker but for the last 10-15 mins kuqi could hold the balls up if we are winning or put himself about if we are losing? I see where your coming from but its not enough for the premiership, maybe championship but no higher

to be honest i beleive that if kitson wishes to stay at stoke we dont need another goalscorer, we need to offload creswell and pericard and bring in another mama type player maybe iwelumo as well as two pacey widemen. Its simple, We have a goalscorer in Kitson allready here, he's proven, he's scored goals wherever he has been, all we need to do is adjust our style slightly and add some pace out wide to fit in our record siging . It would be wise to spend the money on quality wingers with pace capable of beating a man and getting crosses in for Kit's, and play whelan reguarly, then and only then will we see what kitson is all about. We saw glimpses of what he was capable of during the rotherham game, he just needs the club to invest in players that will give him the service he needs. What we need is 2 goalscorers for the main goal threat, which imo we allready have. Fuller/Kitson. We also need too mama type players to fit TP's system Mama/iwelumo? We have a good striker who feeds off wide men, so simple mathematics is we have no pacey wide men, so we need some to give variety/balance in the team anyway + we are looking to find a goalscorer = if we find the wide men and play whelan then we have the goalscorer, a revitalised kitson for free. It aint rocket Science like it says underneath, if you can not change the direction of the wind......... then adjust the sails

I'd rather not think about signing the likes of Kuqi. I'd also rather not consider spunking 4 million quid on that useless lump Marlon Harewood.

I know people will say he is old over rated etc etc etc but i think he would be a good signing for around £1 million he is big strong and has premiership experience, even if he scores 5-8 goals it would be a good buy what you think? Dion Dublin retired too early IMHO...why don't we go for him... ???

Kuqi is like Parkin but without the skill... Akinbiyi without the workrate... Noel-Williams without the vision and Santa but without the presents. All 4 of these would be a better signing than Kuqi and I wouldn't touch any with a barge pole in this league (except Santa, I'd touch him with anything). Kuqi is abit of a parody player at Palace... remember Kyle Lightbourne? Absolutely useless but hilarious to watch when we were in no danger of losing the game, we used to cheer the guy on as he'd stumble and fall through defenders, the ball would bounce up, hit him in the face and go to their keeper and we'd all cheer and put it down as a shot on target. It's not an egg Kyle, you can kick it mate.

No. Would replace Keith Scott as worst ever striker signed by Stoke. N.B. I note that the title of this thread says "good sig hing". Is that as in everybody would sigh in exasperation if we signed him? If so, agree.

I heard someone suggst him on Praise & Grumble on Friday and i nearly fell out of bed laughing (i'm ill). The guy is well passed it and wasn't that good to begin with. You say who else could do that job, lead the line for 45 mins, give it their all etc for the price .... Richard Cresswell is your man if that is how high your ambitions go .... NEXT
