Today's Daily Mirror and BBC gossip column says £1M+ offer from us.
I must admit he impressed me in the cup game, totally fitted our mould of big, athletic and agressive midfielder.
Some other interesting gossip. West Ham pepared to let Bellamy, Cole, Boa Morte go.
But for me the one to go for would be a cheeky bid for Emmanual Eboue

You really think Pulis would want a cock like Eboue around

Eboue?! why the hell is his name being banded about, he is total cack, a cheat and disruptive. No thanks.
I also hear that Brazil want to buy Harewood. Wouldn't be the same without a bit of competition, expect Hull and Fulham to register an interest soon....
As for Derby, you can see them putting themselves in the bracket of a non-selling club if we go knocking for Addison. £1mill will prob be laughed at and Jewell will ask for £7mill.
A good midfielder with a lot of promise, but do we need promise at the moment? I'd rather have an experienced midfielder with an eye for goal.
Going to totally contradict myself now with the next statement (r.e. Disruptive players) but Craig Bellamy, when fit is a fantastic striker and would do well here. Although he is an arse.

Bellamy's wages must be astronomical.

I know TP likes Bellamy, thats why I mentioned him, however, theres no way we would pay him what West Ham are, so perhaps its a non-starter. Que Hull City?....

Jesus! Bellamy, Pennant...lets buy Bowyer and Barton too. TP would have to utilise Rafa's rotation policies depending on the arrest sheets from Friday nights.
Take Pennant on his own though. Quality winger.

I bet Bellamy is on in excess of 50k a week, he'd have to half that, and then some, for us to be able to afford his wages.

Who says we're paying Cresswell 19k a week? Apparently that was the deal if we got promoted.

Who says we're paying Cresswell 19k a week? As bonkers and jaw-dropping as it seems, Cresswell is, according to his agent, on £16k-a-week, with a £3k appearance bonus - which he seems to be collecting most weeks. Nice £300,000 bonus on promotion too. Good work from his agent, you have to say. www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/s/1056811_injured_stars_big_money_potentialMr Stein told the court that salaries had `galloped away' because of vast amounts of cash from television. He said: "Even I admit they are at obscene levels, but as far as I can see there is no end to it." As an example, he told the court that Richard Cresswell, a contemporary of Ben's, who moved to Stoke City, would have been on a basic salary of £10,000 per week before promotion to the Premier League.
His salary at the top level will now be £16,000 per week, plus a £3,000 per week appearance fee. He also received a £150,000 personal promotion bonus and £130,000 from the squad's promotion bonus.

thats fookin scary and also the daft sort of thing that has financially fooked some clubs over a la charlton, leeds etc even though not on the same scale but i mean paying well over the odds for players clearly lacking enough quality to perform in the best league in the world dont get me wrong i'm with everybody who agrees that cressy played a massive part in getting us to where we are but that seems a bit ott on the wage front for a player of his calibre "dons tin hat"
