But a shame it wasn't his plan A! Which it should have been....But for me credit to the manager for going for it in the second half. Mind you when you have no option to change it its a bit easier. Doubt he would have made changes if it had been 0-0 after 60 minutes. But Tone you really have to stop giving the opposition too much respect away from home. Newcastle are near the bottom for a reason.....they blow hot and cold and with our line up we handed the initiative straight to them. When we have a defensive line up the players have a defensive mindset and defend too deep with no outlet up front to take the pressure off and invite teams to come at us. I have said this before but I will say it again...please please TP not 2 holding midfield players ever again apart from away at Chelsea and Arsenal!...... We dont need it!...Our second half passing was a joy to watch. The possession stats were almost equal...god knows what it must have been for the second half something like 70/30 for us we were that much in control. Teams like Newc, Wigan amd coming up Blackburn do not live up to the hype of the prem league....dont go defensive please! If we can repeat the second half performance we will get results no question

Nail on the head there cousindupree, a lot of teams do not live up to the hype of the prem league and are there to be beat. Playing for a draw hands the initiative to them.
