Hiya, Paul. I saw Whelan play a few times and to be honest, wasn't impressed with him. He wasn't that bad but he was no better than some of the others. He was definitely better than Oli though and that's where the 'Pulis factor' comes in. But, I do agree that even Pulis has accepted that Oli is not going to get into the side unless we have a terrible run of injuries or suspensions to our midfield players. On his current form, Whelan deserves his place in the side. I hope he gets it but I would never forecast anything Pulis will do. He does tend to do his own thing irrespective of the obvious. It's one of the reasons I'm a PHW. Onwards and upwards. Are you still predicting our scores these day? Are you still at the same address in Nantwich? I've got an OS Best 20 rock 'n' roll dvd here just for you. It will get your feet tapping. It might even have you agreeing with me that Bill Haley was the real king of rock. Mick.
