Before I carry on this isn't a negative post! I love the fact that we are in the prem, up against quality oppostion each weekend (except for WBA and Hull ) but in comparison to last season this one is much more nerve wracking. I wake up on a Saturday morning thinking SHIT I hope we get a result today as the thought of relegation is too much to cope with. Last season I woke up thinking 'I'm looking forward to another three points today'. Like I said I'd much rather be in the Prem and there is nothing quite like relaxing watching Match of The Day on a Saturday night safe in the knowledge we've picked up some more precious points. I just hope we can put a few more on the board before Xmas. Anybody else wake up with this anxiety / nerves I face every weekend? GO ON STOKE!

To be fair I never woke up last season thinking three points were guaranteed! In fact I don't think I've ever thought that as a Stoke fan. ;D

At the end of the season if we have won the League or qualified for Europe and oh yea we are playing like the Arsenal , my answer will probably be yes Obviously that's the view of the phw's . I'm happy just to see Stoke City on the Premiership fixture list week in week out , and have faith in Pulis keeping us up , which would be a marvellous achievement.

ive loved it so far, dont want it to end.
in particular im loving it when top 4 fans think theyre being humble by chatting to a lowly stoke fans, so i can make them look like idiots who know fuck all about football because they chose a club on the basis of how good they were 20 years ago or they had a smart strip in 1979
wankers but i love em!!

The only thing gutting is that since we're staying here, we'll never experience the joy of promotion ever again.

I spoke to a Derby fan at the end of last season, and although they did so wank, he did say he had still enjoyed the Prem, me personally, I am loving every minute of it, the only downside is some of the gaps between games, they can't come soon enough for me!

i don't know what i'd do if i didn't wake up on match day and feel sick.....the opposition is nearly always phenomenal and untouchable but by tea time i can't believe my stoke city have given (90% of the time) a fantastic account of themselves!! Our home form is almost uncomprehensible, when you think that our results were unthinkable this time last year.....If we fall on our arses now, i still have enough memories to last me a life time!!!!!! GGOOAARRNN STOKE - DO THE TOON!

I love it, I must admit last season I would go to matches thinking that most of the games we had a good chance of winning, where as in the prem I never think we are going to win [except the baggies..].. so when we score against the opposition it feels a lot more exciting and the mentals when we claim the three points is more satisfying..

Yes most of it, but there are a few things I don't like.
1) How it's much harder to get away tickets.
2) How Rory's throw will never have an element of surprise to it again.
3) How the concorse is absolutely packed to bursting at half time.

Lovng it, loving it, loving it! Who cares what the albatross supporters think? Who cares what the pundits or oppostion fans think.? Stoke are my team. We are in the Prem, and that is all that matters.# I don't give two effs what ANYBODY else thinks, I'm a Stokie, and believe me, it will have to get bad, REALLY bad, before a bad result or two get me down. As long as we get behind the lads, give them TOTAL support, stop sniping at TP, and have faith, we have EVERY chance of staying up. With our long history, and looking around us in the league at the opposition, we have every right, and every chance of staying up. Take no notice of what the experts say,. The same expert were saying we wouldn't get promtion, but we are here and we are here to stay. Get behind the lads, let them know we are behind them, and they wont let us down. When their heads drop, shout for them louder, don't start moaning. Moan at home after the game if you want, but never at the game. We are all in this together.

Yes and No
I am enjoying the exposure the club is getting, the improvement in the playing staff, the buffing up of the stadium, being able to see most games on the net if I can't make it, the bigger crowds and better atmosphers
I am not enjoying the extra cost of attending, the predictable media slatings, the increased shit from the police, all these home games being moved for TV, or because some club we are playing is in effing europe in mid week .

It has its good points and bad points.
The good
Extra money Good away supporters (asides Arsenal, Chelsea, Brazil and Hull) Some quality opposition Knowing 11 opposition players Television coverage TV coverage inducing fear factor RE: Delap Andy Gray's analysis Spruce up at the ground Result against Arsenal Compliments about our support in the press Looking forward to ending Ronaldo's career on boxing day and seeing in person at OT just how overrated he is - his performance was like Olofinjana with free kicks Watching Sidibe out-muscle Drogba and rag-doll Terry Stoke on the world stage
The bad Part-time foreigners ManUre 'fans' and other gloryhunters Stupid people in the press Paddy Power Expense Stupid transfer fees Joke clubs like Wigan Sterile home supporters e.g. Wigan, Bolton, ManUre Half-empty away grounds Cheats Crap referees Prima Donnas

I love being in the Prem. But the games themselves I am finding deeply stressful and unpleasant. I thought I'd grown out of all the anxiety but unfortunately it's returned.

I don'tlike the fact that Pulis' negative, back eight, lumpen-prole tactics are excused because they have somehow become our only chance of survival and 'survival is all that matters'.
I'm not sure if I wouldn't rather be going for it in the champ with pace and skill rather than week after week of 10 men behind the ball, fingers crossed for a lucky break in the Prem.
