Really random, and apologies if I deserve a wheel, but just came across this video on youtube, memories of the old Vic, reminiscing of old mentals, if only I was old enough before we left to fully appreciate the place and what mentals could/should be like: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=RTv5q8XQeoM&feature=related

Was that a cup game ? if I remember rightly we drew 1-1, Forest scored late on and took us to a replay. It looks like Mark Crossley in goal.

I went to the replay at the city ground, it was a night match, stoke filled the end, there were stokies getting kicked out left right and centre.

was that Sherons first game for us? Or?
Yeah, was the cup game with Forest, where fooking John Dreyer blocked his own team mates shot. Didn't keen also give away a HOWLER of a pass, in which Forest got their equaliser?

I'd like to see a clip on YouTube of Joey Jordan's first match in charge vs Leicester, screened live on ITV at the time, if only for the incessant "barmy army" boinging on the Boothen End. Now that was what a terrace looks like in full flow.
Anyone got a copy to upload?

Dellilah was much slower then and had a much better impact, it seemed to echo for ages. The delilah recorded at Wembley 1992 is the perfect version.

Didn't keen also give away a HOWLER of a pass, in which Forest got their equaliser? no mate, sheron's first game was against crystal palace. we lost 2-1 but he scored a screamer in the dying minutes. this is a mint video though, i remember the forest cup game like it was yesterday. first time in my life where we were on match of the day. still remember the ball coming into the box for their equaliser. jason lee swung a leg at the ball, if he'd made contact it would have gone over the stoke end, but he missed and pearce followed in and slammed it home. i was in the paddock and just saw ian woan swinging on the crossbar in celebration. funny that its clive tylesdley commentating as well, im just watching the shit on tele in the champions league and he's just mentioned stoke haha.

I can't believe how young I look in that video, I can see me singing and then in the mental!
If I remember right I think they used the celebration the next year as our clip for the highlights program!
