Bollocks to what the "purists" say,we'll do what's required to get the points and proper fans won't care how 3 points come their way, just as long as they do! totally agree mate, finally a hull fan with some sense and not telling me how amazing they are and how they will get into europe and we wll finish bottom had a good start to the season, stuttering a little bit now but fair play to you still going to get a beating at the brit satdy tho

I think it will be a good game - the way that Hull approach away games should be an example to us.
Any team that puts three past the Shit at OT deserves my respect and I don't think it will be a walk in the park.

swan, I’m sorry you were the target of the mindless idiots who still associate themselves with Stoke City. The vast majority of us are not so inclined. You can be assured of a hostile and vociferous welcome inside the ground though , but outside we’re football fans not morons. ;D

In actual fact I blame the police more than the "fans". All that being said I still will not risk bringing my 10 year old or his 6 year old brother to the Brit. Much as it is my nature not to let the hooligan scum re-capture the game I love, my kids safety comes first. As for the reception.......wouldn't have it any other way! I can still remember the atmosphere at the Vic so the Brit is no problem!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I can never understand those that come up with the "Knuckle-draggingly" mindless comments like "Wot you doing on a Stoke board?" It's because I like the banter and getting an idea of another group of fans' point of view, you morons! You should take it as a compliment! Still reckon if I started a thread it would get removed! Ah well, Stoke's loss! ;D ;D ;D ;D

But the reason the Press like us better than you is that we attack people whether that is at home or away, that's why we're the Premiership's second highest scorers away from home and the third best side away from home in terms of points. I might also be worth mentioning that we have spent less than half the money you have this season which makes our achievement all the more admirable in the eyes of the press. While there's no disputing your facts there, ST (and hats off to PB for the job he's doing), the disdain in which we are held by the national press has little to do with the way we play. We've always (or at least for as long as I can remember) been unpopular with large sections of the media, and consequently much of the shite that's spouted about Stoke is conceived to support and perpetuate the prejudice. To aggravate this, Pulis is not the most "media-friendly" manager in the league! He's improving, but I don't think it'll ever be his strong point. To the game: King and Cousin will probably be allowed to get wide as much as they want; Our defence goes very narrow when we're being attacked, with a view to dealing with the ball that comes in, rather than preventing the delivery. Geovanni will get some very personal attention, and the success or otherwise of your afternoon will probably depend on how he deals with that. From our point of view, it will mostly come down to how Fuller plays. He'll be chomping at the bit after his week off, and often has his best games when coming back after a break. And of course there's "The Delapidator". Rory was off-form against Brazil, but hopefully will be back to his best on Saturday. If I have to make a prediction, my head says 1-1.
