How long does it take for someone to have a scan, collect their results and for the club to inform the supporters of the situation?
If it was the NHS I could understand!!! 4 hour wait up accident and emergency, then a wait in x-ray, been behind the dopey workers who trapped fingers in doors or machinery at work!
But surely Stoke go private!!

I guess it depends on what they can see from the first scan. My daughters boyfriend has just had a similar injury and he had the scan within two days however they would not divulge the info too him until the specialist was available which was another 48 hours. They then sadi there was too much swelling to asses the injury properly and it was another 10 days before he underwent a second scan and was assessed. Unfortunatly for him he has ruptured his cruciate ligament and will miss the rest of the basketball season.

Cruciates? Ooooo stinker for a young lad.
I imagine Kits' injury will be announced tomorrow or Wednesday. Get the football quotes out the way, injury news will be midweek news

Yep, I rupture both of mine over the years and it's not pleasent. He's only 17 and signed on professional terms 12 months ago for Menorca Basquet who play in the Premier league in Spain.
He's a little upset at present as I'm sure you can imagine. He due an operation next week in Mallorca.

a-teen this post is an insult to the hard working staff at the city general and university hospital of north staffordshire, since july i have had to have four ct scans on my chest and i have found the service to be efficent. the results have been duly sent to my consult what would be the point of giving them straight to the patient? i prefer an expert to study them! i am sorry that stoke city football club did not phone you personaly with the results as soon as they were known

Calm down Ged. Did you go and wait in accident and emergency or were yours scheduled appointments?
Regardless of that, I too have found them good for scans, infact excellent but they were scheduled.
