wearing Goal keepers gloves. Would it help to get that extra bit of grip on a slipery ball in the winter months

lol - stranger things have happened. Ryan giggs wore tights! ;D
I thought that this thread was going to say -
" Should Rory start in CM with Diao" my answer to that would of been yes, and stick tonge on the left.

I think golfers gloves would be better. Or some of those that archers use. (Ilford! There's that product sponsorship idea!) Much thinnner and allow a better "feel" of the ball so as to put that spin on it. Goalie gloves these days are like Mickey Mouse hands!

Not with Diao, after his display at United, and was average on Saturday, Faye or Olofinjana maybe

I would have thought that using gloves would be breaking the rules.

No. Diao should definitely remain in the side. He is very important and also has an eye for a pass in to the strikers feet which is a change.

What about making the ground higher past the touchline so he has a great view and a 7 metre run up he could throw much better?
Just to change the subject slightly I thought Rory played really well on Staurday, he cleared alot of the mess up in the centre, he is so much more than just a throw specialist.

Not with Diao, after his display at United, and was average on Saturday, Faye or Olofinjana maybe That despite the fact Olofinjana has been wank all season, whereas Diao has had one maybe two poor games?

We can't afford to play with 3 strikers I'm afraid and we'd be way to narrow in the wings, despite the pitch alread being very tight. I hope TP doesn't go with any of your suggestions, as a big part of why we've won so many games at home is due to having that rigid bank of 4 in midfield. To upset that would be suicide.
