Despite me not having any homosexual tendencies Knowles, being a lover of stats I would very much like to kiss you...
Can't wait for "Mama-mama-mama-mama-ma-ma-ma, Mama Sidibe-Sidibe, Mama Sidibe......." tomorrow..

You gay fellas Well the first bit was printed in The Sentinel so TP might have seen it. As for the latest set of stats- I'm sure Mr Pulis knows the importance of Mama. That is why he will start tomorrow

I honestly can't wait for the reception he will get. Despite missing Delap and Etherington I can see the lift that Mama will give the crowd also have an effect on the players..... I was a bit nervous about tomorrow but i'm feeling positive now.
Gooooaaaarrrrrnnnn Stoke!!!!!

I think we should just keep updating this thread as Mama continues to bang 'em in The noise when he went off against Fulham was incredible- it's very rare a player's name gets sung so loudly (by Stokies).

Like some others on here, up until quite recently I was never one of his greatest fans.
Glad to say though that he proved me and quite a few others wrong because I never thought he'd get anywhere near to making it at the highest level.
I don't think I've ever seen a player so distraught to be taken off as Mamma was against Fulham. If it had been up to him he's have played on one leg.
Top marks to a top guy.

I expect this thread to drop off the bottom quite quickly then. As for his song - its popularity is because it is a good terrace song, the second loudest song we have for a player lately is Danny Pugh's - have you got some shite stats to suggest he is a legend too? We have Beattie & Camara - 2 proven Prem Strikers and you deluded fools want Mama to play instead

pez - NO ONE wants mama to play instead of Beattie
Camara or Mama - dont mind which tbh. alos Kitson & Fuller (when he gets back)
4 strikers fighting for one place as Beattie is a certain starter every game imho.

It's all about opinion, I think with Etherington missing in particular we will play more down the middle tomorrow and that suits Mama perfectly

If Mama starts then sadly, I expect we will see that without genuine wide players (or with Lawrence unlikely to be match sharp and able to produce last year's form yet), Beattie will appear as effective as Kitson has done up front. I don't think picking up flick ons in the channels, 40 yards from goal, with minimal support from the midfield, plays to either of their strengths. Mama always brings the same positives - strength, aerial ability, commitment determination - but he also cannot run at defenders, his shooting is woeful, he rarely gets in scoring positions nor does he have the skill to make something happen. 24 goals in 137 appearances, or 1 in 6 games, also puts huge pressure on his strike partner. I'm glad he's back as an option, but I'm pretty fearful for our chances tomorrow and for the rest of the season if he's supposed to be our saviour

This is what we all know, what Mama brings to the team is fantastic, we lost our way last season when he was out injured after the Africans CUp thingy, we also lost our way from the Fulham game, and only found it since the arrival of Beats and Ethrington, come Saturday we will ALL be singing his name, IN MAMA WE TRUST

Big match for him tonight (if he starts). His position is, perhaps for only the second time in his Stoke career, under severe threat. Hopefully bringing this thread to the top will give him good luck and he can bag in the winner. Here's hoping anyway!

That must've took some research Knowlesy.
I would expect we would go with Beatts and Fuller tonight so he may have to score as part of a substitute cameo.
