Crucial, crucial game.
we need to generate the same atmosphere as Villa and the Arse.
It's up to us to help the lads on.
No excuses, let's make those baggies boing-boing down the M6 well and truly battered .

They are weak in midfield so I would expect TP to play Diao and Oli again, to outmuscle them and stop them from passing. I would like to see Whelan or Soares, to give us some creativity, but I don't think we will start with either - possibly on the bench.
2 wins and a draw from Brazil / Hull / Fulham will do nicely.
Oh and i'm going for a 2-0 win

Its a crucial game no doubt....WBA are bottom of the league and scored 2 golas away from home. Its a must win game for all sorts of reasons and it will be very nervy, but if we play as well as we have done at the brit then we should be ok....2 worries, one no Ricci and two we are due a ropey home performance!! Oh and who the hell is Adrian Chiles???

This is a game where, if we win, it could put us 3 results ahead of the Baggies with our goal difference. I'm just worried where our goals are going to come from though. Having guessed the shit score correctly I'm going for a 2 - 1 WIN

BVrazil are the worst side in this league IMHO. We have to get at them and unsettle them. They start blarting if you lean on them.

I'm just trying to see what Joe said that was so wrong Mr 5? You are bottom of the league at the minute, we do need to get at you and you have a history of blarting like girls if we tackle you. Seems ok really.
Thanks for your post by the way, until you said I didn't realise that female deer like to debate. Interesting stuff.

I'm going with my head on this one, my heart says 1-0 Albion but my head says 1-0 Stoke. I think we'll bost the game like we did last season at the Britannia, we were all over you that day but we was too lightweight in defence and they bloked everything on goal, similiar as it was at The Hawthorns. Anyway we really do need atleast 4 points out of Stoke and Wigan but I can't see it happening, we need this result too turn our fortunes around and to break the Stoke hoodoo, last season I predicted us to beat you if we both went up but somehow things ain't turned out how I thought they would be :icon_pale: I think it will be similiar to the game last season all over ya but can't score. I reallly do hope I'm wrong!

A bit better response but I have to say I'm struggling to recall you being "all over us" at the Brit last year. I can't really recall Simmo making many saves of any note. While not being "must win" for either side it will clearly be a massive boost to whoever could come out on top and claim the three points.

It will be interesting to see how we bounce back (boing boing bag o shit) after the Man U game...I know we always beat West Brom usually but for some unknown reason I'm feeling a bit apprehensive about this one...possibly because for the first time this season we're favourites to win... Typical Stoke Factor?

Imagine being a West Brom fan:
Your team is on a bad run;
Your keeper is dodgy;
Your defence is suspect;
Your midfield don't like to mix it;
And your strikers are not firing.
At times like this, where is the last place on earth that you would want to be playing on Saturday?
Come on Stoke; you know it makes sense. Two nil at least!

I think we'll bost the game like we did last season at the Britannia, we were all over you that day but we was too lightweight in defence and they bloked everything on goal, similiar as it was at The Hawthorns. Were you at the match? West Brom didn't even turn up until the second half, when they proceded to spend the best part of 45 minutes passing it sideways in front of our defence. You had two real chances in the game. A few hopeful high crosses into the box isn't "bossing the game" in my book! Stoke were always in control. As for tomorrow, the form book says we should beat you, but for some reason I'm not as confident as some of a win, and I've got a bad feeling it'll end up 0-0 or 1-1. We rely far too much on Fuller, so much will depend on which Kitson turns up, and who plays down the right.

Yes I was at the game home and away, once you got the 3 goals thats when we started to press, and at home in the first half when Barnett scored our goal. This is our best chance in along while. I think mogga will go 4-5-1 Carson Zuiverloon Meite Olsson Robbo Valero Kim/Texieira Greening Koren Brunt Miller I feel our midfield is going to smashed to pieces if we dont stand up for ourselves, we did at Bolton and it worked if Miller would have slotted that home then it would have been a very good result. So we can stand up for ourselves, but never seems to happen against you lot.

I absolutely refuse to believe anyone who says that they are't nervous about this one. I'd sacrifice the kudos that comes with our tremendous record against the Baggies, over many seasons, just for a win tomorrow. A look at forthcoming fixtures suggests that we should get a bundle of points, before Christmas, but two at Wigan have already been forfeited. Come on, lads. Players are always talking about 'giving 110%', so let's see you win this 9-pointer! PLEASE.

Tis a strange thing being in the Prem. Matches against Arsenal, ManU and Chelsea don't bother me at all. Matches against West Brom, Hull, Boro and Sunderland reduce me to a gibbering wreck!
