Would give us a lot of credit if we did all clap / even sing "Theres only one Alex Ferguson"
He is a legend and I doubt will be around much longer

Possibly applaud Ronaldo if when he dives and we could maybe form a massive great guard of honour for them? Or maybe we could get all Christmassy 'Fergie the red nosed scotsman had a very shiny nose etc

Alex Ferguson is the biggest whinging mardarse in football. Hes got no respect for anyone apart from himself.
Jumped up Scottish little prick.

If he gets presented I'd say a polite smattering of applause would be appropriate. But very few people will agree with me!! ;D

Soz PLBR i'm with these boys.
So Tone loves him to bits and he's said nice things about us this week ... it'll take more than that to make me forget all the whining, moaning, watch-tapping, spitting, interview refusing and general 'up his own arse' attitude of the previous couple of decades i'm afraid.
I will give him some credit though .... he has annoyed me 'less' in the last few years than he used to. Seems to be mellowing a bit ... way too late to change my opinion on him though.

If its 0-0 tomorrow going into injury time, has he already instructed the match officials not to blow for full time till one of their centre halfs scores like he usually does?
Should have been made Chester City manager for the next 6 months and then lets see how good he is.

Well we all remember Brian Little being touted as a future England manager. Look where he is now. Whether he could manage Chester is irrelevant because, putting it bluntly, he doesn't have to because he's too good for them. It'd be an intriguing experiment though.

Take the morale high ground by applauding him for his achievements at Aberdeen.
After the presentation verbally destroy him for being a drunken scottish investigator and his team for being the SHIT that they are. Cheating primadona's with no scruples and in terms of Rooney the only man I have ever seen who doesn't have but looks like he has Downs Syndrome.

All managers seem to be complimentary until we beat them. Then they speak out and call us neantherdal bullies, then the media decide to crucify us for our exuberancy. I take pleasure in the fact that we are the most hated team in the league, I don't give two shits who we upset on the way and if we finish one place above the dropzone then I'll be as happy as a pig in shit. I look forward to next week more when we hear the ramblings of the purists from Smethwick banging their Brazilian drum. It concerns me that Fuller is not there to rip the piss out of their inadequate defence as he did last year but maybe this is where the ginger ninja makes his mark for Stoke. How fitting would it be, WBA waiting for the curse to be broken and instead, KITSON extinguishes his own demons.

I think thats pushing the point. We aren't the most hated. Not sure who is but I massively doubt that its us.

Name a journo who likes us then Joe? I read the reports week in week out and thought I was beginning to see a change but then Whinger came along and turned the scales back in the purists direction.

I don't think its a question of journo's liking us. It's more to do with the general feeling and overall I don't think we've been spoken about that badly at all. I read some criticism after the Pompey game but it was all spot on. After Arsenal we got some well earned praise. Some Stokies have got this persecution complex but I'd say we've had a reasonable press so far.

If you read the original comment brother I am referring to Wenger's ability to swing the press against our style of play. Most were complimentary on Saturday night and by Wednesday we were thugs.
I'd be disappointed if fans disrespected us unless we had knocked shit out of them in the late 80's early 90's.
