So Stoke failed with a bid on the last day of the window, do you think Pulis will go straight for him in January? Fast, explosive striker, I think he'd be a great addition and he ain't playing to often for Wigan.
Thoughts?

He'd be an ideal back up to Fuller imo.

Wouldn't be surprised if a few summer targets were back on the radar...none of 'em seem to have moved clubs.

Well...yes but I more meant they didn't go elsewhere during the window. Other clubs were after the likes of Pennant and Ledley but no one managed to get 'em. I imagine another scramble in Jan.

Camara is a player who could offer something to us not only as a forward, but as a winger in my opinion, would be a good addition at the right price.
As for ledley and pennant, well if i'm honest, i wouldn't lose sleep if we didn't sign Pennant, his attitude could disrupt the good unity in our camp, and however useful he would be, we don't want that.
Ledley would be a great signing, but again i would raise a question as to whether he it is worth spending £6M pounds on a player not proven at this level.

He came on for Wigan V us last weekend and came close with his first touch. We do need more firepower and he offers something a bit different, so would be a good shout presuming they will sell him.

I thought it had been muted that we were interested in Benjani

I'd go for him as back-up yeahhh, he's pretty quick and can score goals...even if he is croggin on a bit i reckon he could do the deed if Fuller got injured.
i reckon we could do with selling of one or two of our fringe strikers though to make way for him and possibly another. i reckon benjani or that Caceido would be a good addition though if we could get him instead of Camara although I really couldn't see that happening tbh.
But we'll see what happens ;D

I think it has got to be a real possibility that we could get Benjani,as he hasn't even been heard of this season. And given TP's penchant for getting the best out of players,he would be a great addition to our mighty team.

I'd definitely take him. His move fell through in the summer as Wigan couldn't get Frazier Campbell though, so presumably they'd have to bring in someone else before they were prepared to sell.

I do not want that bluenose bastard pennant at our club. I am proud that our players have great team spirit and an honest work rate, pennant is nothing other than a spineless money grabbing birmingham tosser. I would rather have creswell at right wing than him.

would be a good signing for us for ~£1m, would be a perfect impact player and a spare ric.

Would be good cover for Fuller and might also be able to play alongside him if we get a decent winger to play on the other wing to Lawrence. He'd also be useful to play in place of Fuller in those games when Fuller is knackered and/or starts to lose the plot in the second half - something which happens from time to time.

I find it a bit puzzling that people don't want Pennant because of his "attitude" yet seem to be clamouring for probably the only player in the Premier League with a worse attitude.
He does remind me of someone whose name evades me at the moment.
He is famous for his on field strops and sulks, doesn't go in for any of that passing nonsense, has days when he couldn't hit a barn door yet can win a game on his own.
Ric and Camara at the same club let alone on the same pitch could be "interesting".

I would love us to sign him. But it depends on what happens with Heskey and who they bring in.
