said in the sentinel not long ago should be starting full training end of this week
last few times i have been down he has been doing a lot of fitness work with one of the fitness coaches
This from Tuesdays Sentinel
The game comes too early for injured duo Liam Lawrence and Andrew Davies, but the latter is scheduled to start training later this week after being sidelined with knee trouble since signing from Southampton earlier this season.

Once he is fully fit he should get in the mix. He has played a few Premiership games for Boro. No doubt Griff will start to miss a few games through injury (as he does each year) and Davies will cover for him. In the long term I think Pulis maybe sees him as Ab Faye's cover/replacement.

Isn't Davies a full back?

No - he's a centre back who can also play at full back - bit like Higgy. No doubt TP will be happy when he once again has 4 cb's on the pitch in the back four! ;D

Oh OK. If we are three up against Burnley we could perhaps send him on for the last five minutes. And he'll probably bloody snap his cruiciate ligament and have to retire from the game.
