The whole allocation is over 5000...carnt see us filling that, but from what people have mentioned across the board then would be expecting about 3 to 4 k

I'm sure we have sold out before at JJB, so why not again? Shame you can't pay on the gate!

Shame considering whats happend in the past between the supporters, the i.d cards could very well have been dropped for this fixture & could be looking at a sell out...

I thought it was a sell out. That our first visit to the JJB if I thinking correctly, I have been there that many times I can't quiet remember.
Can anyone remember the Dave Rowson 6-1 roasting? That was a horror show that evening. However on a positive note, on our last visit to the JJB we brought all three points home thanks to John Eustace's strike.

It was Gifton who got that goal in the 0-1 last time, I think.
We took a pretty decent following the year after the trouble (a good 2,000+), as I recall, given what had gone before, plus the fact that it was about two days before Christmas! They equalised right at the end, that time!

If memory serves me correctly, we sold a lot more than our allocation that fateful day in 2000. Not only was every seat taken, but the aisles were full too

i am sure that once the id cards are lifted we will sell more tickets away. I for one am someone who has never bought an id card, simply because i work saturdays. I am off this saturday and cant get a ticket because i have no id card. I'm not going to complain though, that's just the way it is.

The last game at Wigan if was indeed Gifton who scored but that was following a build up which included an outrageous dummy by Eustace which wrong footed their defence. He was still on the way to full recovery from his torn groin muscle and early in the second half he received the knee injury which was to put him out for many more months.

I was taken by my boss (Wigan fan) to that game and sat in the middle of them in that stand to the right of the away end. He smoked a bleeding great cuban all the way through the match while everyone around me took the piss. We were shocking that night

the stand holds 5400, but they almost never give that many tickets to the away team, they have netting over the side rows , think Boro got 4900 , we were to be given a Max of 4,500 I heard earlier and that was a compromise with the GMP who only wanted us to have 3000 , but because of the moved KO allowed us to have more .
Shouldn't worry if we don't sell 4500, as chelsea didn't sell their allocation either

been up the brit today to get rotherham tickets at about 4ish and the guy said we had an original allocation of 3000 which had not yet been sold, he also said the club had the option for more but did not take up the offer , should still be a good atmosphere anyway

The last time we played them we had the stand that is opposite the main stand, we must of taken about 1500 me and my mate had a whole block of seats to ourselves. Ah them were the days
