We'd have been pissed off with this news, this time last year I was just thinking that. I remember Charlton signed Lita on loan and thinking "why haven't we gone for him?" and "he'll bang them in and they'll overtake us". Now, I barely give a shit! ;D

Cardiff doing well could help them to persuade Ledley to sign a new contract (assuming TP would still be interested) so in a tenous way it could affect us.
If Cardiff are mid table come Jan Cardiff will surely sell the out of contract (next summer) Ledley & probably for substantially less than the reported £6m we bid rather than risk a tribunal next summer.
