its a scottish song! someone tried get it started on here but it went down like a lead balloon, people prefer sing delilah 18 times or our other great favourite 'we are stoke'! nothing new as always

Scotland originated it as far as I'm aware, but Liverpool definitely sang it before the idea was posted on here (think they use the "Billy Shankly boys" for their take on the lyrics), as I remember the week preceeding the game at Liverpool, searching on youtube for any Liverpool songs to look out for, and they had sang their version on a march dedicated to Shankly or something the game before they played us
