"griffin did it to malouda"
Yes, but malouda was being a tool, standing in the way of the free kick - he was trying to stop play or just annoy the fuck out of everyone. Griff give him a chance and he still did it. The push had meaning.
Van Persie however, unprovoked. Sorenson was dribbling the ball, picked it up and next minute this huge milk-guzzling dutch thing comes pummeling towards him.

Griff did nothing of the sort to Malouda. As Block11 said Malouda was obstructing play and generally being a tosser trying to stop Griffin from taking a free kick which he was perfectly in his rights to have taken quickly. If the ref had been on the spot at the time he should of given Malouda a yellow card AND moved out free kick 10 yards forward. However the ref was a tool and just let it escalate.
Persie just took out Sorenson no other way to look at it - for a start he intentionally raised his arm/hand to strike Sorenson which is a red card offense the fact he followed through and put him on the floor just compounded it.
How Wenger can say in anyway think it wasn't a sending I just cannot comprehend!
