For someone who has played all over Europe Fabrecas shat himself when he came over to take his first corner in front of the Boothen,
It just goes to show how Stokes crowd can paly a huge part this season.
Who are ya.

He didn't look too clever. I was also thinking about teams getting drilled on the long throw. They won't get the "Rory, Rory", slow hand clap and !!!!!!!!

Yeah I agree From Block 23 I watched him go to take the corner and unlike most players (who blank the crowd out) he looked into the stands and saw 5,000 people standing up and giving him the finger, I saw the look on his face and it was pure fear.
The crowd has played a big part in our home games and long may it continue. At the west Brom game Give the guy to your right a pat on the back ;D

I was saying the crowd's build up to one of Rorys throws MUST affect their defenders/keeper. Brilliant build ups and at their best so far vs the Arse.
why the hell do they call them the Gooners anyway? Goons is about right though for that shower of shit.

Once he knocked the ball out of play for a goal kick, had a moan, the Boothen got at him and he sheepishly got the ball and rolled it to Sorensen, like he was trying to make friends and hope the Boothen got off his back and would be 'nicer' to him. Tee hee.
Yep - can't wait for the Portugese winker and the bald spud!

They only recently played Fenerbahce where the atmosphere was 10x as hostile and they walked all over them, it really is bollox about the crowd, they were intimidated by our style of play and players the crowd had bog all to do with it.

They expect intimidation and a hostile atmosphere at places like Fenerbahce, not at Stoke on a Saturday afternoon in the Premier League.

How close are Fenerbace fans to the pitch? Can't think what their stadium is like.
Watching on TV we look a nasty bunch of bastards both on and off the pitch and if the player is daft enough to eyeball the crowd, it has to intimidate him.
If you twin that with the fact that all but a couple of our lads are 6ft and above and bloody athletic with it and its ever likely it started to get to them.
I honestly thought Van Persie took a couple of strong challenges and thought fuck this for a game of shotties I'm off. Even when he was walking off there is a cracking shot of Shawcross giving him shit as he goes. Adebayor didn't like it up im either.
Anyone think Shawcross might be a bit of a hard bastard? He was daft enough to fall out with Fuller last year and I don't think many would take him on.
