On today's evidence, a big YESSSS from me. With not that much strengthening I honestly believe we'll survive when (not if) we go up. And no way was TP remotely out of his depth tactically.

You're getting carried away youth! Exactly what we lacked was premiership quality.
Great work rate, never say die attitude, no moaning, commitment were all there. What we missed was that little bit of quality to win a game.
Still, very proud tonight.

A great effort all round, but it would be very difficult to play like that week in week out with the squad we have. The base is there, but we need to add, dare I say, that 'extra bit of quality'.

Nowhere near the quality.
A very very good effort, but we are not there yet.

Wouldn't get too carried away lads you played well, but it was Fat Sam's NUFC you were playing lol

thought we lacked a little bit of............................LUCK
well unlucky and matched a Prem team today
you look at the Hull game though and overall think we are some way to having a squad that will go up never mind staying in the Prem If Fuller is not playing we really struggle because we can't force the play at home, then look who we have on the bench-mostly rubbish

Good effort and well played to everyone at the club. We didn't disgrace ourselves at all.
Taking a deep breath and trying to be objective about whether we would make the grade is difficult when your judgment is clouded by being a through and through supporter...but tbh, we've a long way to go.
Parts are there...Lawrence looks good enough, as does Wilko, Dicko, Cort and Shawcross (they all need more experience though). Simo would probably cut it, Pugh also, Ric etc.
Tactically, we'd struggle to make much of an impression week in week out. It'll all need a radical plan that needs to be taking shape now, to get the right players in that'll capable enough, and with the right skill level to change the way we play.
If we were to stick with the likes of Parkin and Pericard as being the answers to moving up a gear i.e. as subs, then we'd get murdered by any average Premiership team.
God I hope we go up, but if we do, then unless TP can turn us around big style, I really feel we'd be another Derby in the making.
Tin hat at the ready.

No tin hat needed, Derby was exactly the example i was thinking of...week in week out that team would get beaten more often than not.
However, they might be just good enough to get up and then if Mr Coates is brave enough with the guarantee of millions for the next 3 years, who knows...
