I remember a game after Lou came back against Liverpool away in one fo the cups. We lost 2-1 ( after James made the best save I think i have ever seen live.) At that game we sang "We're proud again" Well that's how I feel tonight - thank you Mr Pulis - please don't fook up the transfer window and who knows respect might turn into affection!!!!!!!!!!!

As a special "thanks" I've taken the "Pulis Out" from my signature. But let's just leave it at that for now and not say anything and have no "one-upmanship"... Yet

During his 1st stint in charge of us i met Tony Pulis. My missus was going for for inductment so she could work in Delilahs and i had to wait in the car for her. While waiting there Tony came out of the ground to his car to go home. I got out me car and approached him for an autograph. He duly obliged and spent next 10 mins chatting to me. I got back in me car chuffed to bits. As he drove off he even peeped his horn and waved to me. I thought what a bloody nice bloke he was and spent all journey home going on about him to me missus! Anyway, time passes etc and he returns to our club. I wasnt best pleased to be honest as i didnt think he was the man to take us forward. I was in the 'anti pulis brigade' big time. But you know what theres times when you just gotta hold your hands up and say WELL DONE TONY PULIS! Dont get me wrong, ive questioned some of his decisions and tactics, and still do. Ive thought some of his after match comments have taken the piss to be honest as well, BUT lets face it the bloke has done bloody well to get us where we are and its so obvious that the players totally respect and love playing for him. The spirit this squad has is fantastic and Tony must play a huge part in that. Thank you Tony Pulis and well done to you, the players and all the backroom staff for this season so far. Lets hope it continues and im sure it will!!! P.S. Even got my 3 year old daughter chanting 'theres only 1 Tony Pulis' tonight! GOOOOOAAARRNNN STOKE!!! P.P.S. Sorry if its a long post but ive had a drink too!

Mr P deserves a lot of credit for our season to date, particularly tonight. I've not been his greatest fan but the team spirit he has engendered can only be admired and as Alan Hansen said keeping two lines of 4 going throughout the match takes real management quality. Well done Tony Pulis and well done the lads. Now go and finish it off at St James's. We can do it.
